Hi everyone, it’s me… yet again! Big thank you to those to commented on my first Brett post, opinions seemed to either be it’s too masculine and 90s for a girl, or it’s cute and can work. I have decided, from all that feedback, that Brett would be best as a nickname for a longer, more feminine name.
Out of these, which is your favorite long name for the nickname Brett? Also, which name fits best with hypothetical siblings Remington Knox and Mattea Adalynn Lake?
[name_f]Bernadette[/name_f] or [name_f]Bridgette[/name_f]! I love a formal first name that has a nickname with a completely different feel. And I’ve always liked [name_u]Brett[/name_u] on a girl, even though I don’t like many gender neutral names.
[name_f]Beretta[/name_f] is the Number 1 firearms manufacturer in the world. I personally wouldn’t name my daughter after a handgun. [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] or [name_f]Bridgette[/name_f] is quite lovely though! [name_f]Bridgette[/name_f] is more like “bree-geet” than Bridge-jet though so I’d go with [name_f]Bridget[/name_f].
[name_f]Bernadette[/name_f] is my favorite, but I think [name_f]Beretta[/name_f] works well with the siblings’ names as well!
More ideas I have for [name_u]Brett[/name_u] are…
[name_f]Betty[/name_f] or [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] or [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Britta[/name_f]
[name_f]Birgitta[/name_f]
[name_u]Betony[/name_u]
Brietta
[name_u]Barrett[/name_u]
[name_f]Alberta[/name_f]
[name_f]Bettina[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilibet[/name_f]
[name_f]Brie[/name_f] [name_f]Esther[/name_f]
[name_f]Bryony[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f]
[name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Etta[/name_f]
Thanks so much for this reply! I love Brietta, [name_f]Bryony[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], and [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Etta[/name_f] so much
I think [name_f]Beretta[/name_f] & [name_u]Remington[/name_u] together would be a bit much.
I like [name_f]Bria[/name_f] [name_f]Colette[/name_f], [name_f]Brigette[/name_f], or [name_f]Bernadette[/name_f]. Another idea would be [name_f]Brigitta[/name_f].
