I love [name_f]Gemma[/name_f]! It’s so sweet. I wish it paired well with my last name. It’s vintage and lovely!

I want to really like it but it ultimately always strikes me as too cute for a lifelong name. I think it makes a better nickname.

I’ve known several adult women named [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] (here it was one of the most popular names in the 1980s). I think it ages fine. It doesn’t sound childish at all to me.

I think of [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] as a stately name. I actually know of 3 new babies named [name_f]Gemma[/name_f], one of which is my little counsin! I love the name!
