Thoughts on Georgia? (nn Georgie?)

What are thoughts on [name]Georgia[/name]? I am finding myself fond of the nn [name]Georgie[/name] for a girl. What traits do you picture on a girl with this name?

Thanks!

I personally don’t like it, I never really got the love of nn [name]Georgie[/name], and [name]Frankie[/name] on girls.

I do like [name]Georgiana[/name] though. But not [name]Georgia[/name] or the nickname [name]Georgie[/name].

I picture her with dark curls, and an active personality. Not girly-girl at all, very grounded, a bit hard-headed.

I love this name, and [name]Georgie[/name] for a nickname is adorable! (Definitely one, if the only, male nickname I like on females.)

I love the name [name]Georgia[/name]! The nn [name]Georgie[/name] is okay, but, personally, I’d probably call her “[name]Georgia[/name]” more often than not.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Georgia[/name] – sounds like someone sophisticated with a lot of hair.
I prefer [name]Gigi[/name] for a nickname.

Couldnt of said it any better myself.

I love both [name]Georgia[/name] and [name]Georgina[/name], but I don’t like [name]Georgie[/name] at all.

Our [name]Georgia[/name] is the oldest of the group of cousins. She is outgoing & sweet & fun…and at 6 years old has quite a love of fashion & her parents let her express herself!

Having a [name]Georgia[/name] in our family has made me love the name. 6 years ago we were all kind of perplexed when we first heard the name. Nyc area family with no connection to the state or country. But after saying the name awhile we all love it! And now it’s more familiar in general.

[name]Georgia[/name] is cute but we use [name]Gigi[/name] or [name]Gia[/name]

[name]LOVE[/name] [name]Georgie[/name]. [name]Love[/name], love, love. I really dislike [name]Georgia[/name] personally, though–it seems really stiff and I don’t know, I can’t really put it into words why it doesn’t appeal to me. I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Georgiana[/name], though, and I like [name]Georgina[/name] quite a bit. I would love to see [name]Georgiana[/name] nn [name]Georgie[/name]! I think of [name]Georgie[/name] [name]Hanley[/name], of [name]Narnia[/name] fame, haha.

I like [name]Georgiana[/name] more than [name]Georgia[/name], but [name]Georgia[/name] is nice too. I prefer it with the nickname [name]Gia[/name] to [name]Georgie[/name]. I like it without a nickname at all too.

I love most of the “[name]George[/name]” girls names including [name]Georgia[/name], [name]Georgiana[/name] and [name]Georgina[/name]. The only one I’m not crazy about is [name]Georgette[/name]. [name]Georgia[/name] is a wonderful name because it has different images. I can imagine a spunky, tomboyish [name]Georgia[/name] or an elegant Southern lady sitting on the veranda. I think it’s a very versatile name which is part of its appeal for me. It’s a lush, sophisticated name that has an underlying sass to it. This is one classy woman who is not afraid to speak her mind.

Grew up with a [name]Georgia[/name] NN [name]Georgie[/name], she was blonde and athletic. I love both names!

I think its an awesome name! Whenever I hear [name]Georgia[/name], I instantly think [name]Nancy[/name] [name]Drew[/name]
