I absolutely love [name_f]Noa[/name_f] (written) for a girl but I can imagine the confusion with [name_m]Noah[/name_m] given how extremely popular this name is. What do you think? [name_m]Will[/name_m] she just be another Noa(h) in school?
[name_f]Noa[/name_f] has a warm, sunny vibe - it’s cheerful and fun, but I can imagine it being versatile, sweet and cool too. Written down, it gives off a different feel to [name_m]Noah[/name_m], but I can imagine if she has any Noahs in her class or year, she might get known as [name_f]Noa[/name_f] [surname initial] or some variant of ‘girl Noa’.
Yeah Noah’s high popularity would deter me.
I imagine that would be an issue, yes.
Have you considered giving her a name that shortens to [name_f]Noa[/name_f]?
Like:
[name_f]Elenoa[/name_f]
[name_f]Rinoa[/name_f]
[name_f]Noami[/name_f]
I think it looks pretty in print but it’s confusing when spoken. It sounds like the kid was named [name_m]Noah[/name_m], because that’s just been so popular. Maybe you like unisex names though?
I absolutely adore [name_f]Noa[/name_f]
I do agree that with the popularity of [name_m]Noah[/name_m], she might get a bit lost, however I think that I would still use it. It has been on my list for a while now and I have never been to bothered by this. A longer full name could work better though?
one of my friend’s has a girlfriend name [name_m]Noah[/name_m], I think it works wonderfully, I actually like it better on a girl then a boy, and I don’t think they’ll be another [name_m]Noah[/name_m] in her class, at least, I’ve only met one [name_m]Noah[/name_m]
