From a British/Irish perspective, to me Harry seems a bit tired. It was massively popular in the 2000s-2010s era - probably because of the combined Harry Potter, Prince Harry and Harry Styles effects. It was the number one boys’ name in England in 2011-2012. Now it feels a bit past its peak.
I understand though that’s it’s much less popular in other parts of the world like North America and also it has a different pronunciation there compared to the UK and Ireland.
I actually don’t know any Henrys who use Harry as a nickname and I prefer Henry nn Harry to Harry as a standalone name.
