I’m curious to see your thoughts on [name_m]Hershel[/name_m]/ [name_m]Herschel[/name_m]?
That’s funny, I read somewhere that [name_m]Eli[/name_m] Wallach the actor had died this year, so I looked up his full name (obviously) and this was his middle!
I think this is a name which can truly qualify as vintage, definitely something from another era, but I really like it. I think that it is so obscure that even the things which may hold you back from choosing a “funky-clunky” name may not apply as people may not really have an established impression of it
I’m not opposed to it.
I think of the character in the Walking Dead, and Hershey’s chocolate. I’m personally not a fan but I wouldn’t be opposed to it.
It reminds me of the character in The Walking Dead too… Not a fan personally but there’s nothing bad about it really, it’s just not my style! x
First thought was Walking Dead.
it’s ok…
I think of [name_m]Hershel[/name_m] Krustofski or Krusty the Clown from the Simpsons. It is a very Jewish/Hebrew name for me and definitely clunky, but I actually really like it. Admittedly I am a big fan of clunky vintage names, but I think [name_m]Hershel[/name_m] could work very nicely!
My first thought is also of The Walking Dead – but it is a great character, and I love the old world / [name_u]Prairie[/name_u] settler vibe of the name, if it makes any sense …
