[name_m]Just[/name_m] looking for general impressions of this name, impressions it gives etc etc.
I really the possibility of the nn [name_f]Indy[/name_f]…
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think the name is too Spanish/Italian sounding? Although my other favourites come from Greek and Latin, I feel like they still have a kind of British feel to them (or maybe that’s just me) and I wouldn’t want [name_m]Inigo[/name_m] to feel out of place…
On a never ending quest to find a boys name I like as much as [name_m]Rufus[/name_m]…
[name_m]How[/name_m] does it go with [name_f]Ariadne[/name_f], [name_f]Hermione[/name_f], [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] and [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]?
Ps I’m doing a few of these threads to get a feel for different boys names (I find the boys really hard!) so if you fancy giving your wonderful opinions on the others…
I think you already know my thoughts about [name_m]Inigo[/name_m] from the sibset thread. However, one thing that surprises me is the nn [name_f]Indy[/name_f]. I think it might add confusion as there is also [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] (which I believe is more popular) and he might end up being called either Inny or [name_u]Indigo[/name_u], depending on what people mainly know him by.
Thanks for the reply! The [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] issue is something I’ve thought of as well, but I’m not sure it would be a deal breaker- something to think about though!
I love this name. I would have used it if husband did too but he did not, so. It does sound very Spanish to me, not at all British. And I (just me, could be that no one else agrees! Js.) don’t think it vibes well with the other names you listed. But I love the name itself.
You’re not the only one- it stands out to me as well, I just like it so much I wish it gelled with my other favourites better! Seems to be the odd one out of the names I like! Thanks for your feedback
