Do you know any Jolenes? What do you think about it?
I know a [name_f]Jolene[/name_f] that is in her thirties and a [name_f]Joleen[/name_f] that is now 20 (was 16 to 18 when I taught her). I love the name.

It’s pretty, but I think it has a pretty strong association with the song/Dolly [name_m]Parton[/name_m].

I knew a [name_f]Jolene[/name_f], she was my dance teacher when I was a child. I adored her. Very strong [name_f]Dolly[/name_f] [name_m]Parton[/name_m] association, which isn’t a bad thing in my book. I like it.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] the name. I think it could be a revived name. Good way to honour any Joe’s or Joel’s. Haven’t met anyone with the name but would love to meet a little [name_f]Jolene[/name_f].

I recently met a 5-year-old [name_f]Jolene[/name_f]. It definitely surprised me to hear it and it does still seem dated to me. I don’t think it’s quite ready for a revival!

I don’t know any Jolenes, but I do like the name. I could see it making a comeback.
I immediately think of the [name_f]Dolly[/name_f] [name_m]Parton[/name_m] song, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing.

It’s not my usual fare, but I like its peppiness and I am fond of [name_f]Dolly[/name_f] [name_m]Parton[/name_m]. Good nns [name_u]Jo[/name_u] and [name_f]Lena[/name_f]. Come to think of it, a colleague just named her daughter that.

[name_f]My[/name_f] friend is a [name_f]Jolene[/name_f] and we do sing it a lot but I think it’s so pretty and more importantly my friend likes her name
