[name_f]My[/name_f] parents are now considering [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], instead of just [name_u]Josie[/name_u], for my little sister. What are your thoughts? We would still call her Josie/Jo but my dad prefers to have the longer form as her official name. Our biggest worry is that it’s a big long/fancy compared to the rest of our names, which are [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_m]Wilson[/name_m], [name_f]Millie[/name_f], and [name_f]Leah[/name_f]. I like it! It goes okay with siblings. I prefer josie with the rest of you but [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] in general, as i think its nice to have a formal name and a nickname.

I like it better too. She’ll probably go by [name_u]Josie[/name_u] when she is a child, so that will match the rest of her siblings in length, and then she has the option to be [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] when she’s older. And I think the style /vibe matches even though the length is different

[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] is a beautiful name! [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is definitely my favorite as a first name. It fits beautifully with your names and you can still use the nickname [name_u]Josie[/name_u].

[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] is lovely! I wouldn’t worry too much about the fit especially if she goes by [name_u]Josie[/name_u]. I would be a bit surprised to learn that [name_u]Josie[/name_u] is a nickname and [name_f]Millie[/name_f] isn’t, but I would just shrug it off and assume your parents must have loved [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] but not Mildred/Millicent.

I was also thinking [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_u]Holly[/name_u] would be a cool name with a christmas twist.

I love this sibset! I see [name_f]Millie[/name_f] as a nicknamey name as well, so I think [name_u]Josie[/name_u] would work just fine! But [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is gorgeous so you can’t go wrong!
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is beautiful-- I think [name_u]Josie[/name_u] fits very well with the rest of your siblings, so I wouldn’t worry too much about [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] sticking out.
