I posted on here about a month ago asking for input on middle names fo [name_f]Julia[/name_f].
None of the names on that shortlist ever stuck and now we’re considering [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u].
What do people think? (Last name starts with R).
Thanks. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] we can settle on something good as due date gets closer!
Though both names are elegant, together they trip along merrily, very sing-song (which I personally love). As such, the combination is both sophisticated and playful. Not the easiest to say with the two Ls in the middle, but not quite a tongue-twister. [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] might be slightly easier to say, but [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] is more varied and vibrant.
I really like it! I also like the suggestion made above of [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]. It’s easier to say, but both names are lovely.
I love the l sound youve got going on, and it sounds like such a pretty, happy and colorful name! Go for it
I’ll admit that [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] rolls off the tongue much better than [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]. [name_m]Even[/name_m] [name_f]Heloise[/name_f]? It’s probably just me, but I’ve never seen an [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] combo that I thought worked.
[name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] has a spunky sing song vibe - very classic and to me feels summery - a little bit of a tongue twister as others have said but I like it
[name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] is stunning! I love it.
Thanks for the feedback so far.
I guess I should have mentioned at top of thread that [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is another one we’re thinking of, but [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] seems to be the front runner
[name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is really pretty as well but I still prefer [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] and your baby girl probably would as well! By far a less popular name which is really important to me
Another vote for [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]! I think it flows well.
I like it <3 it too!
What about [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]? [name_m]Little[/name_m] easier to say???
When I was born I was named after my grandmother, simply “[name_u]Eloise[/name_u]”. No first or middle name. My parents knew I would be [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] but struggled with names to go with it. Later they decided to make me [name_u]Juli[/name_u] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]. Actually [name_u]Julie[/name_u] (with the “e”). I decided to start going by [name_u]Julie[/name_u] when I was starting a new school and was a teenager. I had a hard time being called [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] by friend’s. They always called me Weezie or Weezer.
In high school I dropped the e and made it legal when I was pregnant with my 1st child. My real friends and family all call me [name_u]Eloise[/name_u].
After my grandmother’s passing, I realized what a beautiful name [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] is. You can call me by either name. I love them both! Coincidentally, my last name begins with an “R” also.
