Our daughter is due in summer and will be named [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. We have gone back and forth on middle names A LOT but I finally feel like we have found something we both love. [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] ticks a lot of boxes. It honors aunt [name_f]Mary[/name_f], grandma [name_f]Goldie[/name_f], and gives me a flower name (I absolutely love floral names). My only concern is it is too out there and quirky. My son’s name is very traditional (and has family significance as well).
What are your thoughts on [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]?
Our other and much “safer” (albeit a bit boring) option is [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] ticks all the boxes indeed and is a beautiful name. I’d say the flow is maybe 8/10, but the significance to you and how much you love it makes it worth it.
I am a lover of nature names myself and always try to use something with a bit more punch in the middle spot with my kids’ names, to make up for the old-school and more traditional first names they have lol. I personally think [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] would be absolute perfection and beauty, a perfect balance of classic, timeless and the delicacy (and wit) of the floral [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]. I always imagined [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] as the perfect nickname… Food for thought, maybe?
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is absolutely darling!
I would love to use [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] but it’s already taken in my family. I’m planning to use [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] also to honour a [name_f]Mary[/name_f] and a [name_m]Gold[/name_m]! It’s just such a good honour name! I think it’s lovely, and realistically how often are you going to use your kids middle names together? I’m sure [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and your sons name go well together, so if she has a more out there but still family-related middle name then that’s fine!
I think [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is super wearable and not at all too out there! [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is lovely. I would love to meet a little [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]!! [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] would be great, too.
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is so very nice – I like it a lot! I love quirkier type names myself (so I may be a little biased when I say it) but I wouldn’t consider [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] too ‘out-there’ at all. It’s a nice, strong vintage name, but has that touch of zest and bounce that really lifts it from being too plain or traditional, as some classic’s (ie, your [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]) can at times feel. I also love the familial meaning for you. Also, as [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is a middle, it being a little more on the bold side for you, wouldn’t be hard at all to navigate.
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is also nice, though it doesn’t seem to have that sparkle that [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] has.
Go with [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]! The significance is a huge plus and [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is very usable for an out there name. And it’s just the middle to an established first name.
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] sounds breathtaking, I recently look a liking for both [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] so this combines both!
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is a beautiful name! I don’t find [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] too out there these days especially in a middle name spot
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is perfect! So beautiful! I love the meaning behind your choice and I think the name flows very well. [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is a stunning middle name.
I think [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is perfection. It may feel more unusual than your son’s name, but [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] are both classic names with lots of heft and history. I love the personal significance!
