Thoughts on Kash?

To go with (hypothetical) siblings:

Girl: [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] [name_m]Hale[/name_m]
Girl: [name_u]Kenzie[/name_u] [name_f]Braelyn[/name_f]
Girl: [name_f]Kessa[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
Boy: Kru [name_m]Daniel[/name_m]
Boy: [name_m]Kash[/name_m] [name_u]Murray[/name_u]

thoughts?

I personally don’t like the whole K-Kardashian theme going on. The names are too matchy to be a sibset, in my opinion. I don’t mean to be rude, but the names together don’t work out. I’ll give you a list of my opinions of the names separately:

[name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] [name_m]Hale[/name_m] - These names aren’t my style, but it sounds good for a boy. For a girl, not so much.
[name_u]Kenzie[/name_u] [name_f]Braelyn[/name_f] - FAR too trendy. [name_u]Kenzie[/name_u] is a nickname; use Mackenize instead. And please, spell [name_f]Braelyn[/name_f] correctly!
[name_f]Kessa[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] - Wow, I didn’t know [name_f]Kessa[/name_f] was a real name. Use [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] instead. [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] is gorgeous though.
Kru [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] - Umm, I’m not sure what to say. Kru is not a real name, so… [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] is good.
[name_m]Kash[/name_m] [name_u]Murray[/name_u] - Toss [name_m]Kash[/name_m] out the window and use [name_m]Cash[/name_m] or [name_m]Cashel[/name_m] instead. [name_u]Murray[/name_u] is nms.

Agreed.

[name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] [name_m]Hale[/name_m] - sounds masculine.
[name_u]Kenzie[/name_u] [name_f]Braelyn[/name_f] - [name_f]Braelyn[/name_f] sounds masculine. [name_u]Kenzie[/name_u] is okay, better than [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] on a girl.
[name_f]Kessa[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] - [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] is so pretty and [name_f]Kessa[/name_f] sounds like it’s trying too hard to fit in with the rest and a “unique” variant to [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]. I can’t find anything legit on it (as in, it’s not listed on the sites I trust). [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] would be gorgeous.
Kru [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] - This spelling of [name_m]Crew[/name_m] reminds me of the guy Dr. [name_m]Gru[/name_m] on Despicable Me. [name_m]Crew[/name_m] reminds me of a rich, preppy kid who is on the rowing team at his boarding school.
[name_m]Kash[/name_m] [name_u]Murray[/name_u] - If you’re going to use a word as a name (this goes for [name_m]Crew[/name_m] too), it’s best to use the real spelling. Using a creative spelling makes the parents look illiterate, [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. [name_u]Murray[/name_u] isn’t bad.

or credit?

It is crass to me. And [name_m]Kash[/name_m] is crass, misspelled.

My mother in law did the K thing back in the 1980’s, which it was more popular then. I wouldn’t try it now unless you really do love the names and don’t care what others will think. Otherwise, spell it “[name_m]Cash[/name_m]” and you’ll have either a literary name (As I [name_m]Lay[/name_m] Dying) or a nod to [name_m]Johnny[/name_m] [name_m]Cash[/name_m].

[name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] [name_m]Hale[/name_m] - This is okay.
[name_u]Kenzie[/name_u] [name_f]Braelyn[/name_f] - Too trendy for me.
[name_f]Kessa[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] - This is fine, though I prefer [name_f]Nessa[/name_f], [name_f]Jessa[/name_f] or [name_f]Tessa[/name_f].
Kru [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] - Again, the C spelling of [name_m]Crew[/name_m] is nicer.

I don’t care for [name_m]Kash[/name_m] at all. Looking at your name list though, we have very, very different taste in names.

I love [name_m]Cash[/name_m] as a nickname for [name_m]Cassius[/name_m], but I guess that doesn’t work with the sibset you’re creating. I also love [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] for a girl (prn CAH-sha).

I agree with a pp that [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] would be stunning!

I hate it, to be totally honest. I don’t like [name_m]Cash[/name_m], and [name_m]Kash[/name_m] is even worse. It’s pretty rare for me to dislike a name as much as I dislike this one.

I would like [name_m]Cash[/name_m] better if it was a nickname for another name, something like [name_m]Cassius[/name_m], [name_m]Cassian[/name_m], [name_m]Cashel[/name_m], maybe even [name_m]Castor[/name_m] or [name_m]Casper[/name_m] or something else. If you’re definitely looking for a K name, I would try to find another name.

I’ll go ahead and rate these names, as well as give you some feedback.

[name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] [name_m]Hale[/name_m]: very masculine, with both names being surnames and rather manly. I guess if she had a cute, feminine nickname (a la Kinnia), the name would be okay. (7/10)

[name_u]Kenzie[/name_u] [name_f]Braelyn[/name_f]: I’m not a fan of the name at all. It’s got a very ethnic vibe about it, and it doesn’t sound well-thought out at all. (4/10)

[name_f]Kessa[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]: In my native language, [name_f]Kessa[/name_f] translates to “bag.” I wouldn’t want to think of that every time I called my daughter. Plus, I’m not a fan of “essa” endings. [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], however, is stunning. [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_f]Kessa[/name_f] would be a million times better. (3/10)

Kru [name_m]Daniel[/name_m]: Eh, it’s an okay name. I like Kru, but it’s kind of abrupt and incomplete. [name_m]Daniel[/name_m]'s old and worn. Overall, it’s just average. (5/10)

[name_m]Kash[/name_m] [name_u]Murray[/name_u]: [name_m]Cash[/name_m] I like, but [name_m]Kash[/name_m] I’m not too keen on. [name_u]Murray[/name_u]'s a solid name, but not one I’d choose. Overall it’s sturdy but a bit lacking in luster. (5/10)

My favorite is [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] [name_m]Hale[/name_m], nickname Kinnia. [name_f]Kessa[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] is my least favorite.
