Thoughts on Katarina Rosalind/Rosemary? Over the top?

Is it too much ‘name’? What do you think of the combination?

It’s a little too much, especially because both first and middle names have three syllables and are all fairly long. If it was paired with a short enough last name, it might help the name not seem so lengthy. And personally, I like [name_f]Katarina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] better because of the flow.

All of them have strong A and R sounds, there’s a strong “in” sound in both [name_f]Katarina[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], and all three have the same number of letters with the stress on the first syllable. So they seem a bit choppy together. They’re beautiful names though (I prefer [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] to [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]- spunkier and I like the literary connection). Would you go for [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] or [name_f]Katarina[/name_f] Rhoslyn/[name_f]Roisin[/name_f] (pronounced ro-sheen)? The sounds are more different so aren’t as hard to say together.

I really like both combinations, but [name_f]Katharina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] has a slight edge. The flow would sound nicest with a short family name, of one or two syllables.

I like [name_f]Katarina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] better.
It is a heavy name but it is do-able

I don’t think it’s too much. I really like [name_f]Katerina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f].

I do like [name_f]Katherine[/name_f], but I really love [name_f]Katarina[/name_f] more. [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] seems too simple to me. I don’t like middle names that are fillers. I love most of the [name_f]Rose[/name_f] names, but oddly enough I just don’t like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] by itself. I don’t like how [name_f]Roisin[/name_f] is pronounced either.

I prefer [name_f]Katarina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] to [name_f]Katarina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Katarina[/name_f] (or [name_f]Katerina[/name_f]) [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] is better, if you were open to that option.

I prefer Over the top combos and names, so [name_f]Katarina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] is pretty to my ears. What about [name_f]Katarina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f]/Roseline

I prefer [name_f]Katarina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] because it has the better flow. I dislike the “ree-nuh” “roz-uh” sounds together.

I don’t pronounce [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] with the “roz” sound. It’s just not a pleasing sound to me. I pronounce it with the [name_f]Rose[/name_f] sound. It’s one of those names where I like it when it’s mispronounced.

The name isn’t too long, but together it’s too much R. For me, [name_f]Katarina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] would be hard to say together. If I had to pick one though, I’d do [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] for the middle name.

I prefer [name_f]Katharina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] or just [name_f]Katharina[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I’m not big on [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f], they are just too clunky.

Well, I actually prefer [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] in general, but for this one I think [name_f]Katarina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is the better choice.

I’m no longer into this combination. I love [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] too much to put it in the middle name slot. I do still like [name_f]Katarina[/name_f], but it might need a shorter and lighter middle name.

This is completely hypothetical.

What middle names would you suggest for a [name_f]Katarina[/name_f] if they had siblings named [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Gloria[/name_f], [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Alaric[/name_m]?
