I was wanting some feedback on the name Krosley for a baby girl There is no info currently on nameberry. MN would be [name_u]Kay[/name_u] (family name). [name_m]Briggs[/name_m] is big brother. Other suggestions are welcomed too!
I would be curious to know where you found it, because Iāve never heard it before. It does not sound like a girls names to me at all. It sound made up to be perfectly honest, and very harsh for a little girl. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_u]Kelsey[/name_u], [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f], [name_f]Keira[/name_f], [name_f]Kirrily[/name_f], or [name_f]Kaia[/name_f]? Or, if you would consider C names, [name_f]Cressida[/name_f], [name_f]Chrissa[/name_f], [name_f]Carly[/name_f], [name_f]Carlotta[/name_f], or [name_u]Mckinley[/name_u]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] some suggestions, because I really dislike Krosley and hope you find something else you like better. Best of luck!
Krosley looks like a trendy Kardashian misspelling of the surname Crossley/Crosley so Iām not a fan. Crosley is an English surname which means āmeadow of the crossā. However next to [name_m]Briggs[/name_m], it sounds like a law firm. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_u]Colbie[/name_u] or [name_m]Crosby[/name_m]?
I use to coach high school softball and there was a beautiful girl we used to play against named Krosley. I guess she makes it feminine for me. I also like Kerigan, [name_f]Wellesley[/name_f] and [name_u]Raleigh[/name_u] is growing on me. Iām fond of more unique names. Thanks for your input!
Iām not sure having the word ā[name_m]Cross[/name_m]ā in her name would be the best idea - if she gets in a mood at school one day, [name_m]Cross[/name_m] Krosley could be a bit of a hard playground nickname to shake. That aside, it also sounds a bit made up - Iāve never come across it before, and tagging -ley endings onto random words is quite popular at the moment, so if it is legit then Iām sure you can understand how it can come across as made up to those unfamiliar with it. The spelling is a bit ambiguous (if I heard the name, I would be inclined to put a double s in the middle when guessing the spelling) and it sounds a bit more like a surname to a first name to me.
If itās the K beginning you like, Larkub101 has some good suggestions.
If itās the -ley ending and unisex feel that you like:
[name_u]Brinley[/name_u]
[name_m]Henley[/name_m]
[name_u]Delaney[/name_u] (not quite -ley but close)
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u]
[name_u]Finley[/name_u] (I donāt consider this unisex but it depends where youāre from)
[name_u]Everly[/name_u]
[name_u]Ainsley[/name_u] (again, unisex dependent on location)
[name_u]Harley[/name_u]
[name_u]Paisley[/name_u]
[name_u]Waverly[/name_u]
