what do you think of [name]Kynlee[/name]? My friend is choosing it for her daughter. Big Brother [name]Kamdyn[/name] [name]Lee[/name]
Any middle name ideas?
I think [name]Kynlee[/name] will not get a very warm reception on Nameberry forums. My own problems with the name are as follows:
[name]Kynlee[/name] (or any spelling variant) is obviously a made up name using just the right consonants and vowels to form something that sounds “cutesy.” [name]Even[/name] if your friend didn’t make it up, someone did. [name]Kynlee[/name] has no history. No nice little meaning attached to it. Essentially, it is meaningless.
Using the spelling of [name]Kynlee[/name] is neither unique or innovative, as such cutesy spellings have been around for over a decade. Spelling [name]Kynlee[/name] that way will only ensure that her name is misspelled and likely mispronounced for the rest of her life.
While some individuals value trendy names such as [name]Kynlee[/name], I do not. They are a dime a dozen these days, and little [name]Kynlee[/name] does not stand out from the other little Brylees, Kinzeys, or Brinlies in the least. As someone who works with youngsters for a living, I can guarantee you that my viewpoint is widely shared.
I’m sorry if my analysis seems harsh; but I am so tired of these made-up, cutesy names. To be fair, I do think that [name]Kynlee[/name] is a good sibset fit for a brother named [name]Kamdyn[/name].
I agree with tintri. It’s a cute, meaningless, made-up name. Middle name suggestions from my viewpoint would include [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Evelyn[/name], or [name]Thalia[/name]. [name]Just[/name] to make it a little less little-girlish and a little more sophisticated. Otherwise, it’s wholly in the decision of the parents.
Well I don’t really like the name [name]Kynlee[/name] at all. But if she is 100% set on it, then I would use a very classic name, something more common and not so out there/made up/meaningless.
So something like,
[name]Kynlee[/name] [name]Olivia[/name]
[name]Kynlee[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Kynlee[/name] [name]Natalia[/name]
[name]Kynlee[/name] [name]Amelia[/name]
[name]Kynlee[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Kynlee[/name] [name]Savannah[/name]
[name]Kynlee[/name] [name]Camilla[/name]
[name]Kynlee[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]
Something like that. I for some reason with this name, think a middle name that ends with an A sounds best.
I’m not sure if she is set on it but who knows
That is literally one of the worst names I have ever seen.
Aside from reasons stated, I would add that saying [name]Kamdyn[/name] [name]Lee[/name] (like when he’s in trouble) sounds a lot like [name]Kynlee[/name] and could lead to confusion.
I would suggest [name]Kendall[/name] if she really wants to continue the K theme. Middle names like [name]Faye[/name], [name]Bea[/name], or [name]Jane[/name] would be cute.
do you have any K names to fit [name]Kamdyn[/name]?
The name [name]Kynlee[/name] does not deserve any thoughts.
[name]How[/name] about [name]Kennedy[/name]? That is a legitimate name that’s on-trend and fits nicely with [name]Kamdyn[/name]. Also, some classics like [name]Kathryn[/name], [name]Kathleen[/name], and [name]Katie[/name] could be used without altering the spellings. Other names that start with K: [name]Kimberly[/name], [name]Kendra[/name], [name]Kelly[/name], [name]Kristina[/name]. While I don’t usually condone misspellings, a name traditionally spelled with a C could be spelled with a K to make it “fit,” if having a K name is an absolute must. [name]Kassidy[/name], [name]Kamille[/name], [name]Kora[/name], etc.
Best of luck to your friend!
I’m sorry but kynlee really is a horrible names…
names to consider:
[name]Kendra[/name]
[name]Kenza[/name]
[name]Kasia[/name]
[name]Kendall[/name]
[name]Kristin[/name]/[name]Kristyn[/name]/[name]Kristen[/name] etc
[name]Kourtney[/name]
[name]Kylie[/name]
[name]Kady[/name]
[name]Khloe[/name]
[name]Kassie[/name]
[name]Kaytlin[/name]
etc
I am really, really tired of these tryndee spellings. [name]Kinley[/name] is okay, but [name]Kynlee[/name] is not even trying.
I literally thought [name]Kim[/name] Kardashian had announced their baby was named [name]Kynlee[/name] based on the title of this post. And I was disappointed…
I like the idea of a classic middle name. [name]Little[/name] [name]Kynlee[/name] may grow up and name her baby [name]Mary[/name].
Good [name]Luck[/name] to the mother and you seem like a good friend. Good luck to you as well!
When 1st talked last yr. before she was pregnant again she said [name]Kenley[/name] i actually like that better… unless she did say [name]Kynlee[/name]…I love [name]Kinley[/name] but spelled this way. or Kinleigh
@emilyva - good point
[name]Kinley[/name]/[name]Kynlee[/name] is becoming very popular. I hear it all the time now. I think [name]Kamdyn[/name] [name]Lee[/name] and [name]Kynlee[/name] are very close names as a sib set. [name]Kynlee[/name] isn’t the worst name I’ve seen/heard of though.
[name]Kynlee[/name] [name]Joy[/name]
[name]Kynlee[/name] [name]Ann[/name]
[name]Kynlee[/name] [name]Paige[/name]
[name]Kynlee[/name] [name]Emmalin[/name]
