I prefer [name_u]Larkin[/name_u] and I prefer it on a boy. I love [name_u]Lark[/name_u] on a girl though 
I’ve never heard of it before. It makes me think of larrikin, another word for a rascal, but I just googled and apparently that’s only Aus/NZ slang.
I love [name_u]Larkin[/name_u]! I’ve only known a girl with this name so it feels more feminine to me.

It’s not for me. I prefer just [name_u]Lark[/name_u]. I think the [name_u]Larkin[/name_u] spelling looks better and it’s pretty unisex in my mind (although it has very different vibes on each gender to me).
It’s quite pretty, but it could work for either gender.
I have to agree on [name_u]Larkin[/name_u] for a boy and [name_u]Lark[/name_u] for a girl 
I love the bird imagery though!
