Thoughts on Liam Please????

I am expecting a baby boy in [name]July[/name] and have hit a wall name-wise. My husband and I have two names that we really like but can’t seem to choose one or come up with any other ones. We already have a daughter named [name]Lily[/name], and would like a name that flows well with hers. The names that we have for our son are: [name]William[/name] (we would call him [name]Liam[/name]) [name]Christopher[/name] and [name]Jude[/name] [name]Oliver[/name]. Any help or any other suggestions would be extremely welcome!

I love the names you’re considering :slight_smile: I like [name]William[/name] the most. [name]Liam[/name] isn’t my favourite nickname but it’s fine. Is [name]William[/name] [name]Oliver[/name] the combo you’re considering? Because it’s lovely!

[name]Love[/name] [name]Liam[/name] on its own or as a nickname. Works nicely with [name]Lily[/name]. Such an interesting new twist on the name [name]William[/name].

I used to be in love with [name]Liam[/name] as a nn for [name]William[/name], then I dated a [name]Bill[/name]. Now I find it almost trying to hard for a cool nn. But I love it as a sauve, Irish version of [name]William[/name] instead. An odd mixture of bad boy and clean and simple.

My only concern: If you have a third child will it also have a four letter L name?

I really like [name]William[/name] nn [name]Liam[/name], and I prefer [name]William[/name] [name]Christopher[/name] over [name]Jude[/name] [name]Oliver[/name] as well. :slight_smile:

I think [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Jude[/name] are gorgeous together! I don’t think that [name]Lily[/name] and [name]William[/name] are the nice of at sib-set because of all the L’s.

I love [name]Liam[/name] - one of my favorite names. However, I think [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Liam[/name] are a bit matchy, so I really like [name]Jude[/name] to go with [name]Lily[/name].:slight_smile:
