Thoughts on Lincoln !?

DH and I are really loving the name [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]! Looking for honest opinions. Our last name is [name_m]Lewis[/name_m]. Does [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] sound nice or is the double “L” too heavy ??

I love [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]. If you like nicknames, I really like [name_m]Linc[/name_m]. [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] is not wonderful but it is also not bad. You both love the name, I say go for it.

[name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] is a very distinguished name and more or less defined in the States by President [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]. I wouldn’t mind the alliteration if it just didn’t have the 2-2 syllable structure (that is what it’s called, correct?) Maybe something like [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] with more syllables.

I like [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] a lot. What middle would you put with it?
Also, I do have a soft spot for the nn [name_m]Link[/name_m].

Middle name will be [name_m]Montgomery[/name_m]

I like it. I don’t think the alliteration is a big issue and [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_m]Montgomery[/name_m] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] sounds quite distinguished.

I love [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]… very nice in all stages, and [name_m]Linc[/name_m] makes a great nickname as well! [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] sounds fine by me!

I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] and the full name together sounds great. I have been thinking about [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] with the nn [name_m]Linc[/name_m] recently as well!

I like [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]. Cool ties to the president, and quirky and quite in-style. I find [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_m]Montgomery[/name_m] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] to be quite surnamey, but it’s still fun. I don’t love [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] like I once did, but I still do like it quite a lot. I met a little [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] once, and he was cute. I’d love to meet another.
