Girls:
Theodora “Thea” or “Dot/Dottie” - like Thea for the nickname, feel like Thea or Dora should be in the nickname if you’re using such a flowery and grand name, though Dot is a fun second nickname Elizabeth “Birdie” or “Eliza” - classic & cute - I prefer softer Elisabeth spelling which would invite “Elsa” and Elsie”. I’m also loving Elspeth these days.
Georgia “Georgie” or “Gigi” - strong name but doesn’t sing to me. Prefer Lydia for eg.
Lily - very pretty, could be a nickname for Elizabeth if you want two for one!
Daisy - like but prefer as nickname for Adelaide or Sunday.
Rosemary “Rosie” - only downside is the different pronunciations of Rosemary. I prefer Romy as a nickname, but in any case my fave Rose names are Rose or Rosamund.
Ruby “Rue” or “Bea” - very cool name but don’t think it ages super well. Prefer other short names like Fleur, Faith or Flora.
Evelyn - elegant and refined feel but I prefer the tailored and essential, Eve.
Finley - like but much prefer for a boy.
Mabel “Mae” - like Mabel, squishy-cute vintage name, usually don’t like Mae spelling (prefer May) but it makes sense here
Josephine “Joey” - one of my all-time fave names but I don’t love Joey, I would go Josie, Posey or Phina!
Piper - love! There’s also Fifer.

Boys:
Jonathan “Johnny” - I like this, very cool, almost prefer Johnny on own, or John nn Johnny.
Edward “Eddie” - love Edward (and Edmund) but would probably use nn Ted or Teddy.
Otis - like, boosted by the show Sex Education, nerdy and hip
Otto - prefer as a middle, love O ending names but too close to otter for me, probably - I do like it! You might like Oscar, Hugo or Arthur.
Jonah - gentle and quietly authoritative but doesn’t strongly appeal - prefer Jasper or Julian.
Shiloh - love!
Ezra - really like, does give me religious leader vibes but that’s not necessarily bad. You might also like Everett.
