To my ear, both Lahna and [name_f]Lonna[/name_f] have the same pronunciation.
So in my opinion, either one should ensure that most people (in the United States and [name_f]Canada[/name_f], at least) say the name correctly.
(Notwithstanding stupid people who will get anything wrong.)
However, between those two spellings, for visual beauty, I love [name_f]Lonna[/name_f]!
I had never really looked at this name, in this spelling, before, but now the more I look at [name_f]Lonna[/name_f], the more I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] it!
I know many on here will disagree with me, but, even though I do like the look of [name_f]Lana[/name_f], I can’t help but prefer [name_f]Lonna[/name_f],ESPECIALLY for your preferred pronunciation.
I have been friends with a [name_f]Lana[/name_f] for many years, and I have never heard someone mispronounce her name (I live in [name_u]California[/name_u] if that makes a difference). This includes teachers, co-workers friends ect. If you would like me to ask her anything about being named [name_f]Lana[/name_f] I would be happy to. I do know she hates the word anal because of the backwards spelling thing, but I don’t think it makes her hate her name.
I would pronounce [name_f]Lonna[/name_f] as low-nuh, not like [name_f]Lana[/name_f] or [name_f]Donna[/name_f].
