Honest thoughts on [name_f]Lorina[/name_f]? it’s the name of [name_f]Alice[/name_f]’s sister (sometimes there have been a few variations) in [name_f]Alice[/name_f] In Wonderland and I think the nickname [name_f]Rina[/name_f] or [name_f]Ina[/name_f] is darling
Lorina is sweet and different though i prefer the spelling [name_f]Lorena[/name_f]
I think it’s pretty, but there are similar names I like a bit more.
I actually pronounce [name_f]Lorina[/name_f] and [name_f]Lorena[/name_f] differently. [name_f]Every[/name_f] [name_f]Lorena[/name_f] I’ve met say lor-AY-nuh, whereas I pronounce [name_f]Lorina[/name_f] as lor-EE-nuh.
I think [name_f]Lorina[/name_f] is sweet, but something about it feels kind of dating to me. Nms, but I can see the appeal.
I like [name_f]Lorina[/name_f] in theory, I would say it Lor-EE-nah, but I also immediately mistook it for [name_f]Lorna[/name_f] (though, that might be because that’s my mum’s name). I prefer the look of [name_f]Lorena[/name_f], and think it looks much more distinctive (though I would say it differently than [name_f]Lorina[/name_f])
Lorina was the name of the sister of [name_f]Alice[/name_f] Liddell (the girl who inspired [name_f]Alice[/name_f] of [name_f]Alice[/name_f] in Wonderland), by the way, and though I believe that inspired some versions of [name_f]Alice[/name_f] in Wonderland, she’s not a part of the original books.
