We FINALLy have decided on boys name we both like, [name]Lucian[/name]. I’m just worried about the initial reaction people might have…[name]Will[/name] everyone always think it sounds/looks like [name]Lucifer[/name]? I think it’s a beautiful intelligent name, but I don’t want to saddle him with a life time of devil jokes…
I [name]LOVE[/name] the name [name]Lucian[/name]! If not for an ex, [name]Lucien[/name] would be one of my favorite boy names. I don’t think he’ll have a problem with the [name]Lucifer[/name] thing, that’s a stretch.
Absolutely adore this name. It is refined, historically rooted, and sleek. Female Lucys aren’t called [name]Lucifer[/name], neither should [name]Lucian[/name].

I don’t think that the [name]Lucifer[/name] connection would be immediately apparent to most. [name]Lucian[/name] is a great name [name]IMO[/name]!
I’m not a huge fan of this name, but I don’t think the [name]Lucifer[/name] thing is a deal-breaker. [name]Lucian[/name] doesn’t remind me of that.
[name]Just[/name] make sure none of his classmates read the 39 Clues books.

[name]Lucian[/name] is one of those “softer” sounding boys names that I find quite appealing (I’m thinking of you, [name]Julian[/name], [name]Raphael[/name] and [name]Sebastian[/name]!). It’s lush and sophisticated with great history depth and European flair. [name]Lucian[/name] and [name]Lucifer[/name] are non-issues.
