I’m trying to get a general feel for how people might react if I were to name my daughter [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] [name_f]Persephone[/name_f]. As a whole, it ticks a lot of boxes for what I like in a name. Being an astronomy nerd, I like that [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] is the name of a constellation, and it also has musical, mythological (the lyre of [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m]), and literary ([name_f]Lyra[/name_f] Belacqua of His Dark Materials) significance. As for [name_f]Persephone[/name_f], she is my favorite of the Greek pantheon because she manages to be both the [name_f]Goddess[/name_f] of [name_f]Spring[/name_f] and [name_f]Queen[/name_f] of the Underworld. But what are your thoughts? Can you see a little girl having this name? A grown woman? I’m just looking for some outside input, thanks 
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f] [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] feels literary, magical and full of story! It’s a big name but i think the lightness of [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] and the fact it’s distinctive but familiar means this name feels wearable! I personally love [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] and [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] is beautiful

I think it’s SO gorgeous! The names go great together and flow melodically. It ticks all the same boxes for me, [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] is my favorite as well.

It’s a striking name, but it’s absolutely beautiful. I think it’s extremely wearable, especially [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] in the first spot. It’s beautiful and magical but not so aggressively far out that only certain personalities can carry it off.

I think [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] is a wonderful name. [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] is a guilty pleasure of mine and I would love to see it on a little girl or a grown woman and I think [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] complements [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] beautifully, keeping the magic of [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] but making it more accessible without dulling it. This is a big YES for [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] [name_f]Persephone[/name_f].
