So I’ve posted in the past about my top choice of [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f]. I like the spelling with the H as I plan for [name_f]Hildie[/name_f] as nn to honor 2nd great grandma [name_f]Hildred[/name_f].
One syllable last name.
What about these combos though (in no particular order)? Which ones ring right to you?
[name_f]Mathilda[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] are my favorite! [name_f]Violet[/name_f] for making it light and playful and [name_f]Frances[/name_f] for its elegance.
I really like [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. I also like [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f] [name_f]Manon[/name_f] and [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f], like [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] and am fond of the style of [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f] [name_f]Leonore[/name_f] & [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f] [name_f]Aileen[/name_f], [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]. I really like [name_f]Hildie[/name_f] as a nickname.
[name_m]Hi[/name_m], I don’t like any of the distinctly [name_m]French[/name_m] style names with [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f] because it just makes me want to see [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] instead. I also think that [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f] is more romantic than [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], so I don’t like names that are too short, or simple, traditional names like [name_f]Frances[/name_f] that I think go better with [name_f]Matilda[/name_f].
Thanks! [name_f]Glad[/name_f] to hear people generally like [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], since that’s our number one pick. But now [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f] [name_f]Severine[/name_f] are stronger contenders.
Any thoughts on [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]?
