Thoughts on maxwell? Initials MMM

[name_m]Hi[/name_m]!

We are thinking [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] for our son, with the middle name [name_u]Michael[/name_u] after my dad.

Our last name also starts with a M. Is it too much to have MMM as initials?

We really lean toward m names! And [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is definite, as I’m due on my dads birthday.

Opinions would be so appreciated!
Thanks!

Personally it does sound like a lot of m’s to me, especially since [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] and [name_u]Michael[/name_u] also have similar endings. That being said, middle names aren’t used that often so I don’t think it would be the end of the world. I love that you’re due on your dad’s birthday! Such a sweet way to honor him.

It would depend on the last name for me.
For instance, [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m] would sound silly, but [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] Mathers sounds just fine.

I don’t mind the MMM so much, but I will agree that the endings of [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] and [name_u]Michael[/name_u] are a tad similar!

Three Ms and the double L ending are not ideal, but might work ok depending on your last name.

I adore alliteration, but I have to chime in and say that [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is a little too much. Not because of the M’s, but the fact that they’re both two syllables, end in L and sort of have a K sound in the middle…
Maybe just use [name_u]Max[/name_u]? [name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] sounds cool
