What do you all think of the name [name]Meadow[/name]? Is it too out there? Does it make you think of the Sopranos? Honest opinions are appreciated.
I really like [name]Meadow[/name], but only as a middle name. I don’t think its very wearable up front.
[name]Meadow[/name], along with [name]Honey[/name], Darling and [name]Cherie[/name] are on my list of GP middle names my partner would never let me use!
I think it’s beautiful! Perhaps my new name crush. I do think it’s wearable in the first spot, though I never watched the Sopranos so I don’t know if it’s a negative or positive association.
I adore it!! I have seen parents use [name]Arrow[/name] and [name]Lake[/name] so why not [name]Meadow[/name]?it’s adorable and has such a cute meaning.
Honestly I have no idea who the sopranos are.
In all honesty, upon seeing the title of your post I immediately thought of the character [name]Meadow[/name] Soprano…I think the association may fizzle out as she gets older, however.
I love [name]Meadow[/name]! I don’t automatically think of the Sopranos.
[name]Love[/name] that name actually! If you name her [name]Meadow[/name], give her a middle name like [name]Elizabeth[/name] or [name]Catherine[/name]. Not [name]Rose[/name] or [name]Violet[/name] or [name]Willow[/name] or any naturey names as they don’t go as we’ll together. Nickname could be [name]Mea[/name]/[name]Mae[/name]/[name]May[/name] that’s also very pretty. [name]Forrest[/name]/[name]Forest[/name] can be used as a boy’s name so why can’t [name]Meadow[/name]? 
I know someone who named her (now 3 year old daughter) [name]Meadow[/name]. I have never seen the Sopranos, so that is not my association at all. I always think of it as a nature name first. It personally isn’t my style. There are a lot more nature names that I like better…but if you like it, then you should use it. I think it’s definitely usable. And not “out there” at all.
My boyfriend loves this name… but for a dog. I agree with him. Sorry. I’d save it for the middle.
I know a little girl with this name. I did think, “Oh, like the Sopranos.” upon hearing it, and I have never even seen the show. At this point even more time has passed since the show’s end so maybe the association is weaker? I still think of My Girl when I hear [name]Veda[/name] though so maybe it is just one of those names.
As long as you use a more classic middle with it I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. it has a very pretty sound, and like the pp said, there are kids named [name]Arrow[/name], [name]Lake[/name]’ and [name]Forrest[/name], why not Medow?

I have a friend with a daughter named Meadow Ava. She’s almost 4. And her sister’s name is Haven Bella. I too am not familiar with Sopranos… so I just think of it as a cute, nature-y name!
