I recently heard the name [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] for a little girl and I thought it was so sweet!! I’ve never been big on virtue names as first names but this one really melts my heart! I like the combo [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]! What do you guys think? It’s definitely unique and has great meaning but is it usable?
That’s super pretty and soft sounding. If you love it, it sounds perfect! It is absolutely usable.

Mercy is gorgeous! [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] isn’t my cup of tea, and [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is a little over the top to me, but if you love it then use it!
[name_f]Mercy[/name_f] is so sweet and meaningful! [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] has a really lovely flow. Both names do have heavy faith connotations to me, which could be a plus or minus for the overall combo depending on what you’re going for

I think the sound is nice, but I don’t think it’s great for a name. I don’t see how she wouldn’t get teased at school. What about [name_f]Marci[/name_f]?

My preference for those two names is actually [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Mercy[/name_f]. I guess it all depends on last name tho to figure out what has the best flow.

I love the name [name_f]Mercy[/name_f]! It’s so underused! It is really sweet, meaningful, fresh and powerful. It gives me a feel of freedom. [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is a gorgeous name. I adore it. However, it is probably too religious for me.
Well I am [name_u]Christian[/name_u] so that isn’t a problem. I don’t see it being religious as a bad thing.
[name_f]Mercy[/name_f] is my niece’s name! Though she’s [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] [name_u]Lyn[/name_u]. She’s a precious, spunky, active redhead.
I definitely agree with @aventurine; sure, it’s pretty, but I can only imagine the girl belonging to a strict, conservative family and that’s not a good image for a child in 2020. The fact that it’s paired with [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] makes that connotation stronger. If you use [name_f]Mercy[/name_f], maybe go for a more unique middle?
