What are your thoughts on the name Meredith being used as a first name? I have always liked the name but felt that its connection to Grey’s Anatomy is too obvious…
Does this name seem like a name that can grow on a person at any age? Please give me your thoughts and talk me in or out of it

[name_u]Love[/name_u] it. Elegant, classic, timeless. Ages well. Gorgeous name. While I know Greys Anatomy- I don’t feel like it’s tied to it at all.

Yes yes yes! I’m naming my daughter [name_u]Meredith[/name_u]! She’s due in 2 months and I can’t wait to give the name to her! [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] is so cute, it fits a little girl, teenager, young adult, and adult! I love all the nicknames like [name_f]Merry[/name_f] and [name_u]Red[/name_u]! I can’t say enough good things about Meredith…I’ve loved the name since I was 15! I can’t explain how much I love it, but just know that you shouldn’t doubt [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] and if you love it as much as I do, then use it!

[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] is lovely and I really like the nickname “Mere”. I definitely think of Grey’s Anatomy, but it’s not so attached that I would ask someone if they named their daughter after the show or anything.

i love the name meredith (haha and mostly becuase of greys anatomy but i don’t think a lot of people would really connect it to the show). it’s so elegant and it flows so well. the only problem is i couldn’t find a middle name to fit it. & yes i think it can fit really any age from little girl to grown woman!!
