Not any where near children, but I’ve recently fallen for the combo of [name]Miriam[/name] [name]Grey[/name]. A daughter names [name]Miriam[/name] would most likely get called [name]Miri[/name] by me, and [name]Grey[/name] is my little brother’s middle name, so that’s set for me.
[name]Do[/name] you think it could work with my other favorites? They are:
[name]River[/name] [name]William[/name]
[name]Ariel[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Asher[/name] [name]Neil[/name]
I knew a few Miriams growing up, and really didn’t like the sound of it when I was young. However, now that I’m an adult i think it’s just beautiful! (Not really sure what that means, but there ya go)
And [name]Miri[/name] is such a great nn!
It’s such an old world woman’s name that I’m not sure it pairs well with [name]Linden[/name] (which i see as a modern unisex name).
I think names like [name]Eliana[/name], [name]Judith[/name], [name]Colette[/name], and [name]Florence[/name] pair better with it.
I love [name]Miriam[/name] [name]Grey[/name]! It’s very sophisticated, but she still has the cute, peppy nickname of [name]Miri[/name] for when she’s a little girl.
The only issue is I’m not sure if it pairs well with [name]River[/name] or [name]Linden[/name]. I think [name]River[/name] and [name]Linden[/name] are a little more modern and trendy, where as [name]Miriam[/name] has a lot of history. I think [name]Asher[/name] goes nicely, but I think [name]Miriam[/name] would go better with maybe a [name]Maxwell[/name] or [name]Bennett[/name] for a brother, and [name]Lisette[/name] or [name]Lucille[/name] for a sister.
I really love [name]Miriam[/name] [name]Grey[/name]! [name]Miri[/name] is so cute for a nn, too, and I think the name as a whole fits in very well with your other favorites. All the Miriams I’ve known have been simply lovely, so even though I can’t really imagine using it, and it’s not my favorite name ever, I love seeing it because I always imagine the most gracious, kind, good soul.
