Thoughts on my Combos

Hey Berries! I’ve recently been revamping a lot of my girls combos and thought it would be helpful to get some second opinions since my list is a bit all over the place. You can rank them, comment on them, and I’m definitely open to suggestions. Thanks for your help!

[name_f]Ana[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Greta[/name_f]
[name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Briella[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Effy[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] “[name_u]Kit[/name_u]”
[name_f]Kaya[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Hanna[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]
[name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] “[name_f]Hattie[/name_f]”
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] “[name_f]Lilly[/name_f]”
[name_f]Livia[/name_f] [name_u]Sloane[/name_u]
[name_f]Lola[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Vittoria[/name_f] “[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]”
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
[name_f]Noa[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u]
[name_f]Selena[/name_f] [name_u]Bryn[/name_u]

I will rate them on how they look and sound together. Faves are in bold.

[name_f]Ana[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] - Yes, I know [name_f]Ana[/name_f] is the Spanish spelling…if only it didn’t look so short! [name_f]One[/name_f] more “n” and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] would be fine!
[name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] - Pretty to look at and to say aloud!
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] “[name_u]Kit[/name_u]” - you can’t go wrong with two classics. I do prefer [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Kaya[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] - I prefer the spelling of [name_f]Caia[/name_f] or [name_f]Kaia[/name_f].
[name_f]Hanna[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] - Again, I know [name_f]Hanna[/name_f] is a legitimate spelling but I think [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] “looks” better.
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] - A vintage and princess-y name all rolled into one!
[name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] “[name_f]Hattie[/name_f]” - [name_f]Claire[/name_f] smoothes out the clunkiness of [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f]. [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] is cute!
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - This may be my favourite. Classic chic!
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] “[name_f]Lilly[/name_f]” - I don’t like the cutesy [name_f]Heidi[/name_f]. I new a mean [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] when I was young so that isn’t a favourite name either.
[name_f]Livia[/name_f] [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] - [name_f]Livia[/name_f] is a gorgeous Italian gem. Why ruin it with the name [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] which rhymes with moan and groan? They seem oddly mismatched to me.
[name_f]Lola[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] - too many vowels
[name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Vittoria[/name_f] “[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]” - I love [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]. I’m not a fan of [name_f]Vittoria[/name_f]/[name_f]Victoria[/name_f].
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] - too heavy on the “oo” sounds
[name_f]Noa[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - A strange match but they flow well together.
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] - This is a lovely pairing! The frilliness of [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is grounded by the coolness of [name_u]Winter[/name_u] in the middle spot.
[name_f]Selena[/name_f] [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] - I like the spelling [name_f]Selina[/name_f] better but these two names work well together.

ooo, I really like your style. A lot of these are really lovely!

[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] “[name_u]Kit[/name_u]” - lovely!
[name_f]Livia[/name_f] [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] - I’m not over the moon about [name_u]Sloane[/name_u], but [name_f]Livia[/name_f] is one I swoon over! What about [name_f]Livia[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] or [name_f]Livia[/name_f] [name_f]Sue[/name_f] or [name_f]Livia[/name_f] [name_f]Sable[/name_f]?
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] - very pretty!
[name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] - beautiful
[name_f]Briella[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] - I’m not too fond of [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and I think the trendier [name_f]Briella[/name_f] needs something more substantial in the middle. [name_f]Briella[/name_f] [name_f]Dinah[/name_f] or [name_f]Briella[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] or [name_f]Briella[/name_f] [name_f]Cecily[/name_f]
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] - pretty
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] - ooo, very elegant

[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Greta[/name_f] - I normally like -a/-a combos but I don’t like the flow of this one. [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] or [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] or [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_u]Bryn[/name_u]?
[name_f]Hanna[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] - pretty, a bit n heavy, but I still like it
[name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] “[name_f]Hattie[/name_f]” - I’m not super fond of [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f], but it’s a lovely combo
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] - I don’t mind it. Neither name is my favorite, but it’s nice together
[name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Vittoria[/name_f] “[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]” - I like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] a lot, [name_f]Vittoria[/name_f] is interesting as well. It’s not bad.
[name_f]Ana[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] - simple but nice
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - both very popular, I think [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] flows better
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] “[name_f]Lilly[/name_f]” -cute combo, I like it. I’d put [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] first personally, [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] [name_f]Lilliana[/name_f].

[name_f]Noa[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - I adore [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]! [name_f]Noa[/name_f] I just don’t really like on a girl. It’s all boy to me. [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] or [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] or [name_f]Nova[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] or [name_f]Genoa[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] I’d be all over with love!
[name_f]Effy[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] - [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] is a super cute mn, I’m not fond of [name_f]Effy[/name_f]. I know too many people who say “effing” to replace the F word, and that’s all I can ever think of.
[name_f]Lola[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] - [name_f]Lia[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] is a brand of jewelry and I have a few of their pieces. And I really don’t like [name_f]Lola[/name_f]–I hear “low light” or “low life” or “lie low”. What about [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] or [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] or [name_f]Leona[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f]?
[name_f]Selena[/name_f] [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] - all I think of is the Mexican singer who was killed. Not a great connection.
[name_f]Kaya[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] - I’m just not fond of either name. [name_f]Kaya[/name_f] seems very trendy as does [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f].

[name_f]Ana[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] - very cute
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Greta[/name_f] - the flow is off
[name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] - they don’t feel the same to me…[name_f]Greta[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] works for me though
[name_f]Briella[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] - a bit cutesy
[name_f]Effy[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] - What would [name_f]Effy[/name_f] be short for? I wouldn’t want to be a grown woman with [name_f]Effie[/name_f] as my full first name.
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] - very nice
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] “[name_u]Kit[/name_u]” - OK, this one is lovely
[name_f]Kaya[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] - the ending A and beginning E trips my tongue, and they’re stylistically quite different
[name_f]Hanna[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] - oh that’s charming; I love this spelling
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] - this may be my favorite [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] combination
[name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] “[name_f]Hattie[/name_f]” - prefer spelling [name_u]Clare[/name_u]
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - lovely combination, and I love that spelling, but a more unexpected middle would be fun there
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] “[name_f]Lilly[/name_f]” - the combination is off, though I love [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
[name_f]Livia[/name_f] [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] - oh that’s cute
[name_f]Lola[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] - works
[name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Vittoria[/name_f] “[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]” - combination doesn’t work for me
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] - very sweet, if a bit too much quirk–maybe [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]?
[name_f]Noa[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - good flow, unexpected
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] - lovely
[name_f]Selena[/name_f] [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] - not my style but it flows well

[name_f]Ana[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] - I, too, prefer the [name_f]Anna[/name_f] spelling, but in general I find both just so very plain. Plus, with a virtue name like [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], the whole image is very stuffy.
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Greta[/name_f] - [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] is a lovely, princessy name, and really just doesn’t flow well at all with [name_f]Greta[/name_f]. Though I dislike [name_f]Greta[/name_f], if you like it, consider [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Gretel[/name_f], for flow’s sake. I would choose a different name from your list, however, like [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] or [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] instead. Also, for me, depends on how you pronounce it? Are you thinking ah-nah-staz-ee-uh or anna-stay-juh? I dislike the first one (sounds like “nasty”) but the latter is lovely.
[name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] - The flow is nice, though the names’ styles are very different. Meh.
[name_f]Briella[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] - Cute, prefer [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Briella[/name_f] or [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Brielle[/name_f].
[name_f]Effy[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] - [name_f]Effy[/name_f] feels very nickname-y to me, and the only [name_f]Effy[/name_f]/[name_f]Effie[/name_f]‘s I know of are fictional characters: [name_f]Effy[/name_f] Stonem, from the TV show Skins, and [name_f]Effie[/name_f] Trinket, from The Hunger Games. While they might be interesting characters, I wouldn’t want my daughter modeled after either of them.
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] - Very lovely. Has a gorgeous Southern belle flair.
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] “[name_u]Kit[/name_u]” - Nickname [name_u]Kit[/name_u] is an adorable variation on [name_f]Kate[/name_f], though I just dislike the [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] spelling, and as a whole I prefer [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] to [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]. This one might not be my favorite, but it’s in runner-up category.
[name_f]Kaya[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] - These two names don’t really go together…[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] isn’t my favorite, and isn’t [name_f]Kaya[/name_f] a doll or something?
[name_f]Hanna[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] - [name_f]Lovely[/name_f], though I prefer [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Hanna[/name_f].
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] - Ooh, gorgeous. [name_m]Both[/name_m] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] are beautiful.
[name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] “[name_f]Hattie[/name_f]” - [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] is a stretch from [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f]; I also prefer [name_f]Hendrika[/name_f] to [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f]. [name_u]Clare[/name_u] is prettier than [name_f]Claire[/name_f]. This one’s a little old-ladyish, but not necessarily in a bad way.
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - two very, very trendy names. [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Carlotta[/name_f] or [name_f]Jezebel[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] would freshen them up a bit.
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] “[name_f]Lilly[/name_f]” - Meh.
[name_f]Livia[/name_f] [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] - [name_f]Livia[/name_f] and [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] don’t go at all; [name_f]Livia[/name_f] is dramatic and ultra-feminine, [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] is a grunt, very masculine.
[name_f]Lola[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] - Feminississima. [name_f]Lola[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] or [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] would flow better.
[name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Vittoria[/name_f] “[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]” - Another uber-feminine combo. Prettier than the others.
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] - Cute, quirky.
[name_f]Noa[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - Absolutely beautiful, but I do hope you’re pronouncing [name_f]Noa[/name_f] as noh-[name_m]AH[/name_m], and not as the boys’ name [name_u]Noah[/name_u] (which has emphasis as NOH-ah).
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] - [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is very cutesy and [name_u]Winter[/name_u] strong and grown-up; the two don’t match. [name_f]Phaedra[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] or [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] would do better.
[name_f]Selena[/name_f] [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] - Flows well, though not my favorite names.

[name_f]Ana[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] - think the lovely [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] should be the first name
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Greta[/name_f] - the double -a ending messes with the flow, try [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Gretchen[/name_f]
[name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] - trendy
[name_f]Briella[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] - believe [name_f]Briella[/name_f] has some soap connotations, plus i think [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is a better first anyway
[name_f]Effy[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] - i implore you dont use this. think of all the names children will come up with, plus its a nickname. think of what a grown woman would want to be named. when your daughter is grown her boss will be calling her into their office by this name, this is the name someone may cry out during sex, etc. at the very least give her a full name ‘back up’ to use - [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f] or try another F sound and go with the quirky [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] - like this combo, began liking [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] after seeing the Vampire Diaries, the character gave me a different persepctive of the snobby [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] i used to imagine
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] “[name_u]Kit[/name_u]” - love [name_u]Kit[/name_u], very cute nickname
[name_f]Kaya[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] - feel like [name_f]Kaya[/name_f] feels like one of those semi exotic names like [name_f]Maya[/name_f] and [name_f]Jade[/name_f] and [name_u]Eden[/name_u] but worse because it uses both the trendy k and y
[name_f]Hanna[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] - spell [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] correctly - another hassle of having to correct people her entire life, trust me as a person with two names like this IT IS NOT FUN, IT NEVER GETS BETTER, ITS ALWAYS ANNOYING.
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] - [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is becoming trendy, and if you want to try something a lil different than [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] since its kinda been peaking try [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f].
[name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] “[name_f]Hattie[/name_f]” - love, great ‘old lady’ name to bring back
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - both uber popular, you have way better names on this list
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] “[name_f]Lilly[/name_f]” - i saw just go with [name_f]Lilly[/name_f], not a fan of [name_f]Jillian[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
[name_f]Livia[/name_f] [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] - [name_f]Livia[/name_f] is a nickanme for [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] - go with the full name or at least swap [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] to the first name (plus its not as popular and feels lovely yet strong for a girl)
[name_f]Lola[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] - another double -a but not bad since they are both short, not as much as a mouthful
[name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Vittoria[/name_f] “[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]” - [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_f]VITTORIA[/name_f], even with the [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] confusion i say be bold and go for the first name or try [name_f]Victorie[/name_f]. [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] = Ball = i love [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. just go with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] or try [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] or some other form
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] - [name_f]Luna[/name_f] is getting pretty trendy
[name_f]Noa[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - i know this is the girl spelling but i’d go with [name_u]Noah[/name_u] like [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] so your kid doesnt have to correct everyones spelling all the time
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] - [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is another [name_f]Luna[/name_f], quirky, and [name_u]Winter[/name_u] is getting trendy and overused.
[name_f]Selena[/name_f] [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] - [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] makes me think of brine, it just feels like some modern invented ‘i want a trendy y name’ name
