Thoughts on my favorite 4?

[name]Reverie[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Lavender[/name] [name]Ivy[/name]
[name]Hugo[/name] [name]Knight[/name]
[name]Roger[/name] [name]Grant[/name]

All of the middle names are family names, and the first names are just names I love.

Well, the only one I’m still in the process of loving is [name]Roger[/name]. I totally think it can become super adorable if I’m just brave enough to use it. Like, [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Freddie[/name], but still hidden under dust.

Thoughts? And if not [name]Roger[/name], what other name fits with these? For boys I love classic but not at all common. Names I’d love if they weren’t becoming so popular (or they’ve been vetoed by the husband): [name]Henry[/name], [name]August[/name], [name]Fredrick[/name], [name]Cullen[/name], [name]Sullivan[/name], [name]Harry[/name], [name]Jude[/name]

Let me know! Thank you!

Here are my thoughts:

[name]Reverie[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] - I love [name]Pearl[/name], don’t really love [name]Reverie[/name], but the combination sounds nice.
[name]Lavender[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] - [name]Both[/name] names are really gorgeous, but taken together they remind me of [name]Beyonce[/name]'s [name]Blue[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] - also, pairing a color name with a word name is a little weird, like you’re talking about, well, ivy that’s lavender. [name]Lavender[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] would have the same problem.
[name]Hugo[/name] [name]Knight[/name] - I adore [name]Hugo[/name]. [name]Knight[/name] isn’t my favorite, but again, the combination has a good sound.
[name]Roger[/name] [name]Grant[/name] - Like this a lot.

Thank you!

Love Reverie Pearl and Hugo Knight. Roger’s grown on me, but right now I’m not quiiiite there yet… It’s okay, and the combination sounds good, though. And I agree with the pp about having an adjective name+noun name… I see lavender ivy or lavender pearls, too. Not sure what other gems you have hidden in your family tree. Lavender Molly, Lavender Mabel, or Lavender Elise would sound pretty, should they happen to appear…

EDIT: Forgot your second question…names instead of Roger. What about Martin or Malcolm, Edmund, Winston, Alden or Alcott or Albert, Franklin, Reginald (nn Rex), Vincent, Warren, Maximilian (not necessarily with nn Max, but Ace, Milo, Leo, etc.), Gilbert (makes me think of Anne of Green Gables), Barnaby (nn Barnes or Abe), Callum or Calvin (love Cal!), Abraham (nn Bram), Gregory, Ward, Gerard, Walter, or Desmond? Some of those might still be too musty to fit with Sullivan or Cullen…

[name]Love[/name] them all! I do think [name]Lavender[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] is a bit off-putting. Perhaps a different family middle?

I actually think [name]Roger[/name] is quite usable and charming, although I prefer it spelled [name]Rodger[/name], but that’s a personal preference.

I really like [name]Grant[/name] and also [name]Sullivan[/name] and [name]Jude[/name]. I agree with [name]Lavendar[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] reminding me of [name]Beyonce[/name]'s daughter’s name but it’s very pretty. Would you have a nickname for that name?

I love all of them.
