Middle names are all family names. I love them, but they are so common in my area (althought the nn’s are a little different). Thoughts? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you avoid common names or just go with what you love?
They’re all lovely, but my vote goes to [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] for its versatility as a name. It can seem modern or classic or vintage or glam or tomboyish or etc. I’d say to go with what you love.
Funny, I like your middle names more than your firsts. I would love to see sisters [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]!
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]- I like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], love [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]. I don’t like the nn [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] on a girl. I wish I could, but it’s my brother’s name so it’s very male for me. I like [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] better as a nn, or even [name_f]Lola[/name_f]. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is ridiculously popular where I am, but it’s a classic so I don’t think it’s a big deal- especially if you will use a nn most of the time!
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] Katerine- [name_f]Emma[/name_f] is lovely and [name_f]Emma[/name_f]-[name_f]Kate[/name_f] is a nice way for it to be a little more unique from any other [name_f]Emma[/name_f]'s! This is my favourite on the list, but I fear how popular [name_f]Emma[/name_f] really is… I’ll send some “substitutes” your way incase you are looking for something similar but less popular.
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]- I love both names, but for some reason this combo doesn’t have enough spark for me.
For a less popular [name_f]Emma[/name_f] substitute:
[name_f]Calla[/name_f] ? Has a similar feel to it and the appealing -a ending.
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] - my favourite! [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] would be perfect!
[name_f]Esme[/name_f]
Other suggestions:
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f]
[name_f]Ramona[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Celia[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f]
If I could re-do your combos:
[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] Katerine (Possible nn [name_f]Nora[/name_f]-[name_f]Kate[/name_f])
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] (Possible nn [name_f]Elsa[/name_f])
ooo, we almost named our daughter [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] until we found out DH’s cousin used it for her daughter (we ended up using [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f], which I love love love but wasn’t sure if I’d have the guts for back then. I say in the end, you gotta go with your gut and the hell with popularity or anyone elses opinion). So, I like that one, but I also really like [name_f]Emma[/name_f]-[name_f]Kate[/name_f] too. [name_f]Emma[/name_f] is more popular than [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], but I just never liked the “[name_f]Char[/name_f]” sound of [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], even though I love the name written and [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] or [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] can be cute nns. So, I think I’d vote for [name_f]Audrey[/name_f].
I really like all your choices, but they’re a bit boring. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] is the best. [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] needs something else for a middle.
