[name_u]Addison[/name_u]: I really like this one, and I love when boys get back names traditionally masculine. However, I admit I wouldn’t be brave enough to use [name_u]Addison[/name_u] as a first name while is still so popular for girls. But I do use it as middle name. Something like [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_u]Addison[/name_u] or [name_m]Seamus[/name_m] [name_u]Addison[/name_u].
[name_m]Amias[/name_m]: I like it, but only if it’s pronounced “[name_m]Ah[/name_m]-mee-as”, because “um-EYE-us” is too similar to [name_f]Amaia[/name_f], a spanish girl name. It would be delightful to meet a little [name_m]Amias[/name_m].
[name_m]Andreas[/name_m]: I know that [name_u]Andrea[/name_u] and [name_m]Andreas[/name_m] are boy names, and even the meaning is related to masculinity, but to me, it will be always girly. Anyway, I don’t really like how it sounds.
[name_u]Avery[/name_u]: This name is indifferent to me. It’s nice, and a safe choice. I find [name_u]Avery[/name_u] much more masculine that femenine.
[name_m]Boaz[/name_m] “[name_u]Bo[/name_u]”: I adore [name_u]Bo[/name_u] as a nickname, and also [name_u]Beau[/name_u]. But I don’t like [name_m]Boaz[/name_m].
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m]: absolutely handsome. It’s always a pleasure to see [name_m]Caleb[/name_m]. I really hope you keep this one, because I’d like to see [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] in one of your unexpected and handsome combos.
[name_m]Casper[/name_m] “[name_m]Cap/name_m/[name_m]Cas[/name_m]”: One of my favorite boys names. I love [name_m]Casper[/name_m], its old-fashioned, European feeling. It’s a handicap the association with the ghost, but it’s not really something bad, and probably a lot of kids nowadays don’t know who is he. Cappy is the cutest nickname for a baby and a toddler, and [name_m]Cas[/name_m] give a more “modern” vibe to the name.
[name_m]Daniel[/name_m]: It’s a nice name, and I used to have it on my list. Not my favorite name, but it’s always a safe, nice choice.
[name_u]Darby[/name_u]: It’s nice, and I’ve never heard about it before. I think I’m too fond in [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] that [name_u]Darby[/name_u] doesn’t sound completely right to me, but still, is a nice name. Your [name_u]Darby[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] is very catchy, I would call the boy [name_u]Darby[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] or [name_u]Darby[/name_u] [name_m]Dan[/name_m] a lot.
[name_m]Declan[/name_m]: It’s very 80s to me. It’s fine, but I don’t find it has handsome as [name_m]Amias[/name_m] or [name_m]Casper[/name_m], for example.
[name_m]Desmond[/name_m]: same feeling as [name_m]Declan[/name_m].
[name_u]Ellis[/name_u]: [name_u]Love[/name_u] this one! As [name_u]Addison[/name_u], but this time, I do would use [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] as first name.
[name_u]Everett[/name_u]: a safe choice, but not my favorite.
[name_m]Grant[/name_m]: this one is very nice. Maybe it sounds a bit dated, but I love how strong it sounds.
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m]: another favorite of mine. I can imagine [name_m]Amias[/name_m], [name_m]Casper[/name_m] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] being brothers.
[name_m]Jack[/name_m]: probably my most favorite boy name ever. I just adore [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. It’s short, strong, manly but fresh. To me, [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is a energetic boy, a friendly soul. And I adore how you use [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. Your [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] was stunning, and [name_m]Amias[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is also a 10/10.
[name_m]Judah[/name_m]: there’s something about -ah names that bothers me.
[name_m]Leo[/name_m]: sweet and short. I like it. [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] would make a wonderful sibset.
[name_m]Mathis[/name_m]: I really like this as a middle name. For first name I much prefer [name_m]Matthias[/name_m] or [name_m]Mateo[/name_m].
[name_m]Peter[/name_m]: Another classic. [name_m]Peter[/name_m] reminds me to [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Pan[/name_m] and [name_m]Peter[/name_m] Pevensie, and brings me really nice childhood memories. I would like to see you using [name_m]Peter[/name_m].
[name_m]Reef[/name_m]: Never heard it as a name, and I don’t really like it, but I think it could work as a middle name.
[name_m]Reuben[/name_m] “Reu/[name_m]Ben[/name_m]”: [name_m]Ben[/name_m] as a nickname for [name_m]Reuben[/name_m] is a 10/10.
[name_u]Rory[/name_u]: also one of my favorites, so I can say anything bad about it.
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u]: yay, please use this one. I remember I had [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] on my list, but I can’t remember the combo. It’s really handsome, and [name_u]Rory[/name_u] would be a nice nickname.
[name_m]Samuel[/name_m] “[name_u]Sam/name_u”: I’m ok with [name_m]Samuel[/name_m], but I do love [name_u]Sam[/name_u].
[name_u]Schuyler[/name_u] “Schuy”: I love when I see the traditional spelling. I think [name_u]Schuyler[/name_u] would be a perfect middle name.
[name_m]Seamus[/name_m]: It’s a nice name.
[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] “[name_m]Seb/name_m”: I have to lov this one. It’s classic and familiar, and I only know one [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] (and my late great-grandfather). [name_m]Seb[/name_m] and Sebby are not my favorite nicknames. I much prefer [name_m]Bas[/name_m] or [name_m]Bastian[/name_m].
[name_m]Sumner[/name_m]: what’s the origin of [name_m]Sumner[/name_m]? I remember [name_f]Summer[/name_f] from your signature, and I was delighful to see it on a boy. Your [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] was awesome. Anyway, [name_m]Sumner[/name_m] sounds a bit more “manly”.
[name_m]Thomas[/name_m]: other of my favorites traditionals names. I love [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] even more than [name_m]Tom[/name_m], and I know [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] with an unexpected middle name would be awesome.
[name_m]Zane[/name_m]: not very fond of this one.
So, to sum up:
I adore: [name_m]Amias[/name_m], [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_m]Casper[/name_m], [name_u]Ellis[/name_u], [name_m]Grant[/name_m], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_m]Peter[/name_m], [name_m]Reuben[/name_m], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], [name_m]Sumner[/name_m] and [name_m]Thomas[/name_m].
I would get rid of: [name_m]Andreas[/name_m], [name_m]Boaz[/name_m] and [name_m]Reef[/name_m]
