@Greyblue - Aww, thank you love. And I can almost guarantee [name_m]Boaz[/name_m] will go nowhere… based on how meaningful [name_m]Boaz[/name_m] is and how giddy I got when I came across one in real life. [name_m]Boaz[/name_m] [name_m]Andreas[/name_m] [name_u]Henry[/name_u] is one of my favorite names of all time and I would be tickled pink to have a [name_m]Boaz[/name_m]. I like [name_u]Rory[/name_u], [name_m]Gilbert[/name_m], [name_m]Jubal[/name_m], and Caspian… [name_u]Rory[/name_u] I would probably use as a nn for [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], if I’m being honest. I feel like they’re too similar to use both, and my heart is with [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], but I’d be so happy to call him [name_u]Rory[/name_u] occasionally. [name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] I’m not sure if I can see me with one, but he is nice… and [name_m]Jubal[/name_m] is a dog in this series of novels I’m reading, so I’m not ready for him on a human yet (do love the unisex [name_u]Yuval[/name_u] for a girl though!). I adore [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] and want a home for him again, but with [name_m]Caspar[/name_m] as my top name currently, I don’t know that I would use him up front… [name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] is my only idea, but I don’t love him.
@lavenderwitch - thanks, dear! I’m honored you do! Not sure I could use [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] and [name_m]Eoghan[/name_m] together as they rhyme (), but I see what you’re laying down. And ahhh, this list. So many of these are very close to my heart! [name_m]Absalom[/name_m], [name_m]Melchior[/name_m], [name_m]Balthasar[/name_m], [name_m]Simeon[/name_m], [name_m]Hazael[/name_m] (prefer [name_u]Azrael[/name_u] though), [name_m]Jethro[/name_m], [name_m]Ebenezer[/name_m], [name_m]Josiah[/name_m], [name_m]Philemon[/name_m], [name_m]Malachi[/name_m], [name_m]Zebulun[/name_m], [name_m]Canaan[/name_m], Zephan/Zephaniah, [name_m]Cornelius[/name_m], [name_m]Gideon[/name_m], [name_m]Mordecai[/name_m], and [name_m]Lazarus[/name_m] are all likes… some, like [name_m]Absalom[/name_m], I hesitate on due to the negative connotations. I’ll have to give them further consideration; most I love but would probably only use as middles.
@Oblivious_octopus - thank you! I like [name_m]Lars[/name_m], [name_m]Leander[/name_m], and [name_m]Aras[/name_m], but I’m not sure I could see me with little boys with these names. Definitely in the right vein, though!
@Clay_Maker - Thank you! I’m not sure [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m] [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] is too plain for me… I’m just not fond of [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] myself. [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m] [name_m]Cornelius[/name_m] is unspeakably cool, but maybe too much name? I’d like to keep to a family middle, so I don’t know that [name_m]Ephraim[/name_m] or [name_m]Lazarus[/name_m] would work with [name_m]Reuben[/name_m] Greystoke, but I suppose I could claim Greystoke for my grandma whose middle was [name_f]Grace[/name_f], lol. I want something a little more tame after Greystoke since it’s so unusual… like [name_m]Reuben[/name_m] Greystoke [name_u]Henry[/name_u] or [name_m]Reuben[/name_m] Greystoke [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]? [name_u]Augustine[/name_u] [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] is very mellow… but I’m fine with that. I think [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Arthur[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_u]Augustine[/name_u] [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u], for example, work pretty well together? I love [name_m]Cornelius[/name_m], too; I want to love [name_m]Nicodemus[/name_m] because of an amazing show I’ve been bingewatching (The Chosen… it’s the first ever multi-season show about the life of Jesus)… I love [name_m]Nicodemus[/name_m] in the show! I’m just not sure I can really see [name_m]Nicodemus[/name_m] on a little boy/love it enough to use it. Lazslo seems easier than [name_m]Lazarus[/name_m] to me, and I don’t have a nn for [name_m]Lazarus[/name_m] I really love. [name_m]Ephraim[/name_m] is super handsome, though, and I always sort of forget about him. I’ll have to give him some more thought!
