[name_m]Hi[/name_m] berries! I want to establish first that I’m totally too young to have a baby. This post is not about naming real people. If that’s what you came looking for, I apologize.

So this is my second account on Nameberry because I hated my username and lists on my other one, and this one is neat, clean and consistent. Since I’ve created this account (Let’s say around 1-2 weeks ago?) my name list had a complete renovation and most name stuck. I want to know your thoughts on some of my favourites. I’m looking for big things, such as whether you like the name or not and why, and maybe also little things, like if you associate a colour, place or thing with it. Thanks!

[name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] - Like
[name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] - Dislike
[name_f]Martha[/name_f] - Dislike

I love [name_f]Nina[/name_f], [name_f]Lola[/name_f], [name_f]Stella[/name_f], [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] and [name_f]Bianca[/name_f]. My favorite is [name_f]Lola[/name_f]. [name_f]Martha[/name_f] is OK, but I’m more [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] person.

[name_f]Nina[/name_f] - love this name. I have a dear loved one with it, and I just think it’s so short and beautiful.
[name_f]Lola[/name_f] - not a fan, I prefer [name_f]Lula[/name_f]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] - always makes me think of constellations and stars, which is a great association to me :slight_smile:
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] - So pretty! One of my GP combos is [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f].
[name_f]Bianca[/name_f] - I am biased because this is my name :wink: [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] IT!! People always say I have a unique and beautiful name, and that’s why I love it.
[name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] - it’s okay, but I prefer [name_f]Matilda[/name_f].

My top faves are [name_f]Nina[/name_f], [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Bianca[/name_f], and [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] <3

[name_f]Nina[/name_f] - I like this name for being short, sweet, and not super common.

[name_f]Lola[/name_f] - I like it. Pretty and playful.

[name_f]Stella[/name_f] - I kinda like it.

[name_f]Isla[/name_f] - I never really liked this name.

[name_f]Bianca[/name_f] - I like this name for being classic, but uncommon.

[name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] - Not attractive to me.

[name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] - interesting, though not my style.

[name_f]Martha[/name_f] - ok.

[name_u]Sydney[/name_u] - I like this name.

[name_u]Indigo[/name_u] - I like this more for a boy.

:: [name_f]Stella[/name_f] is starry and magical but glamorous and sophiaticated; she’s timeless, maybe gaining in popularity but unlikely to be a top 10 name; no weird nicknames, no weird associations, just a good name

:: I was neutral on [name_f]Bianca[/name_f] until I saw a [name_f]Doris[/name_f] [name_u]Day[/name_u] movie once where her “enemy” was named [name_f]Bianca[/name_f]; [name_f]Doris[/name_f] [name_u]Day[/name_u] at one point calls her Binaca and I can’t shake that association

:: love; on our shortlist; I assume the pronounciation is in line with [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] but saw in a post the other day that it can be pronounced other ways?

:: I love the idea of [name_f]Martha[/name_f]; so solid, loaded with gravity and history; I can’t imagine a flighty girl named [name_f]Martha[/name_f]; though I don’t think I could ever use it, it seems too dowdy

[name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] … Seriously like this, so much better than [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f]. Purple, [name_u]Blue[/name_u], [name_u]Teal[/name_u]
[name_f]Bianca[/name_f] . Adorable, like it a lot
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] … Ok. Not a favorite. Not a huge fan of [name_f]Ella[/name_f] ending names.
[name_u]Sydney[/name_u] … Cute, still reminds me of Kidney / [name_u]Sidney[/name_u] because it rhymes
[name_f]Martha[/name_f] … Nice. [name_u]Green[/name_u] and Grayish [name_u]Blue[/name_u]

Lola … Never liked it- the first syllable sounds harsh imo. … Dark or Deep Royal Blue / Medium purple
Nina … Cute, not my favorite, but adorable … White

[name_f]Lola[/name_f] - love this, so sassy but also elegant somehow
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] - Gorgeous! One of my faves.
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] - I’m not as much of a fan of this one; it’s a great name but I’m not a big fan of the long “i” sound.
[name_f]Bianca[/name_f] - [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] and underused!
[name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] - I should really love this name but I’m kind of indifferent. I like seeing it on your list though!
[name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] - I always sound a little lispy when I say this. I love the flow of it though.
[name_f]Martha[/name_f] - [name_f]Glad[/name_f] to see this on your list! [name_f]Martha[/name_f] still strikes me as a bit matronly but I really love the punch of [name_f]Marta[/name_f]! I feel like it goes with your other names better, too.
[name_u]Sydney[/name_u] - This seems a little more “dated” than your other names but I know some truly great [name_u]Sydney[/name_u]'s!

[name_f]Lola[/name_f] - I actually love it the only thing I dislike about it is the meaning
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] - So pretty and vintage, [name_f]Stella[/name_f] is never out of style
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] - I used to like it but it has become way too popular
[name_f]Bianca[/name_f] - I like it, I like Italian names in general
[name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] - Prefer [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] - I don’t like it
[name_f]Martha[/name_f] - It’s an old lady name to me

[name_f]Lola[/name_f]- [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Lola[/name_f]. I used to not like it so much, but I met a girl named [name_f]Lola[/name_f] and she was super cool so now [name_f]Lola[/name_f] is too!
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]- [name_f]Stella[/name_f] also has a bit of spunk. Cute name for a cool girl who fights for what she wants.
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]- [name_f]Isla[/name_f] is a bit more of the prim and proper type, but I like [name_f]Isla[/name_f] too.
[name_f]Bianca[/name_f]- I’m not sure what I think of [name_f]Bianca[/name_f]. On one hand I like it, but I’ve never really met a Biance that I liked…
[name_f]Mathilde[/name_f]- I don’t really like [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f]. I think it depends if you pronounce it like the [name_m]French[/name_m] (maw-teel-de) or the Americans (Ma-till-de). I prefer the [name_m]French[/name_m].
[name_f]Thessaly[/name_f]- I don’t like it.
[name_f]Martha[/name_f]- I think [name_f]Martha[/name_f] is a cute name with potential to come back.
[name_u]Sydney[/name_u]- I love [name_u]Sydney[/name_u]. Such a cute name!
