[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
Here are my thoughts:
Brontë [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]-[name_f]Bronte[/name_f] is beautiful. It’s strong & feminine. I’d be nervous to use it unless you’re a fan of the author. It’s very attached to her. I like [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], but don’t care for how the ‘b’ sound repeats in this combo.
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Saffron[/name_f]-I’m not sure why I don’t like this. I like [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] & [name_f]Adelie[/name_f], but this one doesn’t do it for me. I think the pronunciation is tricky.
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]-So cute! I don’t love the flow of the combo, but [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is beautiful. I seriously know three little '[name_f]Junie[/name_f]‘s’ though. A boy [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], a girl [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], & a boy ‘[name_u]Junot[/name_u]’.
[name_u]Romy[/name_u] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]-I don’t love this one. [name_f]Romilly[/name_f] is much prettier.
[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]-Gorgeous!
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]-I love love love this one.
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]-So sweet! [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is feminine yet tailored. I like it a lot, & I like how you did the Scottish spelling of [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] here.
[name_f]Heidi[/name_f] [name_f]Elora[/name_f]-[name_f]Elora[/name_f] is charming, but [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] is just too cutesy.
[name_f]Polly[/name_f] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f]-Yet I don’t find [name_f]Polly[/name_f] too cutesy. Go figure. [name_f]Polly[/name_f] is nice, & I like this combo. You could also do [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] nn [name_f]Polly[/name_f].
[name_f]Dora[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]-This isn’t bad, but I like [name_f]Dora[/name_f] better as a nn. [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] or [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] or even [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] or [name_f]Adora[/name_f].
[name_f]Una[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]-Not sure about this one. Doesn’t do much for me.
[name_f]Mina[/name_f] [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f]-Cute, but I kind of prefer this as a nn too.
My favorite from this list is [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] with [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] & [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] in close seconds. I think that [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] is the most unique, if that’s something you’re concerned with.
And the other list…
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Savannah[/name_f]-I like [name_f]Juno[/name_f] as a nn for [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] (or [name_f]Junia[/name_f]) . [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] is too 90s trendy for me.
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Orla[/name_f]/[name_f]Lola[/name_f]/[name_f]Autumn[/name_f]/[name_u]Piper[/name_u] (nn City???)-[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] is sweet. City is kind of odd though. [name_m]How[/name_m] about the nn Fliss? I like [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] best. [name_f]Lola[/name_f] is too nick-namey for a mn.
[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]-This is nice. Simple, smart & feminine.
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]-Meh, I can’t get into this for some reason. I like [name_f]Delia[/name_f] & [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] a lot though.
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] ([name_f]Estella[/name_f]?)-This is on my list too. Fell in love with [name_f]Estella[/name_f] when I read ‘Great Expectations’ a billion years ago in high school.
[name_f]Opal[/name_f] [name_f]Astoria[/name_f] (?)-Kind of cool, but I don’t love [name_f]Opal[/name_f]. Had an old lady neighbor named this as a kid. And interestingly enough, I would play with her granddaughter, [name_f]Autumn[/name_f].
[name_f]Jovie[/name_f] [name_f]Elena[/name_f]/[name_f]Eliora/name_f-This doesn’t seem complete, although Jovial is weird.
[name_f]Cleo[/name_f]-So cute, but I love it as a nn for [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]. I named my dh’s car this!
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Sienna/name_f-[name_f]Margot[/name_f] is fun, but really seems to be getting popular. This combo doesn’t seem right to me. The names are two different styles.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
