I definitely see the appeal and like the sound of it. I know a girl named Margeaux, so [name_m]Deveraux[/name_m] would probably fit right in. I also like in [name_m]New[/name_m] [name_f]England[/name_f], which is a Frenchy place, so it’s not uncommon to see surnames Beaulieu, Thibeault, and Therriault (which all end in -o sounds, by the way). [name_m]Deveraux[/name_m] wouldn’t be a stretch at all.
I love [name_m]Deveraux[/name_m]! I don’t think it’s trashy, but I can understand it being seen as a bit pretentious- for some reason I think a lot of super [name_m]French[/name_m] names give off that vibe. I don’t think it’s unusable, especially because [name_m]Dev[/name_m] is such a down-to-earth and wearable nickname.
