[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
Here are my thoughts-
Girls-
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]-So sweet. It’s smart, kind, gentle yet holds substance. It’s getting really popular in my area, & I don’t like any nns for it. Those are the only minor downfalls.
[name_f]Lucie[/name_f]-Very cute & lovable. Kind of hard to picture on an adult, but obviously adult Lucies exist. And that spelling looks a tad off. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] spelled this way has been in or around the top 100 for years, that it’s too familiar to mess with in my opinion.
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]-I don’t know why, but I can’t get into this one. It just sounds sort of dark for some reason.
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f]-It’s beautiful & timeless. I love it on any age, & I’m completely head over heals for [name_f]Livy[/name_f]. But [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is just soooo over done & expected these days, you know? That’s why I have [name_f]Olive[/name_f] nn [name_f]Livy[/name_f] on my shortish list instead.
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f]-Very cute! It has a pleasant sing-songy sound. It’s unique yet not too out there.
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]-See [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f], LOL. I really like [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] though. It sounds softer for some reason. And I love the nn [name_f]Nellie[/name_f]. I also think that just [name_f]Delia[/name_f] is pretty.
[name_f]Clarrisa[/name_f]-For some reason ‘issa’ names always sound snobby to me. No real reason why. [name_m]Just[/name_m] not my cup of tea.
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]-

[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]-This is nice. It’s dramatic like the other [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] names on your list, but sounds not as dramatic.
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]-This is good! It’s simple yet not over done. Smart, sporty, girly but not too girly & grows up well.
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f]-I’m a name freak, & I still can’t tell if this is ‘lie-ruh’ or ‘leer-uh’. That could be an issue. I like the ‘lie-ruh’ pronunciation.
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]-I kind of like it, but sometimes it feels clunky to me. I quite like the nn [name_f]Millie[/name_f].
Boys-
[name_m]Atticus[/name_m]-This is cool. I used to really love it, but it’s just losing its charm for some reason.
[name_u]Atlas[/name_u]-This is cool too! Sounds like a fresher version of [name_m]Atticus[/name_m].
[name_m]Bram[/name_m]-Meh, it’s okay. A little bland. I really like [name_m]Abram[/name_m] though. [name_m]Bram[/name_m] is better for a nn in my opinion.
[name_u]Beckett[/name_u]-I love the nn [name_u]Kit[/name_u] here. [name_u]Beckett[/name_u] is cute, but when you say it too much it sounds weird.
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m]-Oh, that’s neat. Bold & a little mysterious. [name_m]Cas[/name_m] & Caspi are really cute nns.
[name_m]Charles[/name_m]-I love all of the nn options here ([name_u]Charlie[/name_u], [name_u]Cal[/name_u], [name_m]Cab[/name_m], [name_u]Chase[/name_u], [name_u]Chance[/name_u] & [name_m]Chet[/name_m]!) more than the actual name. It’s a good solid classic though.
[name_u]Darcy[/name_u]-I don’t care for this one. It sounds too girly for a boy & too boyish for a girl.
[name_u]Dorian[/name_u]-This doesn’t do much for me. Not sure why.
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m]-I want to like this! I really like [name_m]Edgar[/name_m], [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] & [name_m]Edward[/name_m]. This just sounds a little too clunky.
[name_m]Ernest[/name_m]-Well, this is totally clunky, but it’s so unexpected that it’s kind of fun.
[name_u]Finn[/name_u]-[name_u]Love[/name_u] it! On my list too. It’s so simple, witty, sporty & lovable.
[name_u]Julian[/name_u]-I really really love this one. It’s been on my top three since I was a teenager many moons ago. It’s so darn handsome & charming.
[name_m]Oscar[/name_m]-Very nice. A little artsy & quirky, but can totally see on a go getter type.
[name_u]Max[/name_u]-I love [name_u]Max[/name_u]! Kind of like [name_u]Finn[/name_u], but a little softer almost. Very popular, but a great name.
[name_u]Percy[/name_u]-Kind of cute as. nn, but kind of too cheesy.
[name_m]Peter[/name_m]-Very handsome. A good solid classic. I like [name_m]Peter[/name_m] w/the unexpected nn of Patch. Or [name_u]Pip[/name_u]!
[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]-Another nice one. Bold & artsy, but also sophisticated. A little pretentious, but I kind of like that about it. Great nns too: [name_m]Satch[/name_m], [name_m]Seb[/name_m], Sebby or Bash.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
