hi! so i did a top 5 of fav girls names i’ve recently fallen in love with and i wanted to know your opinion about them 
since i don’t see them very often here
also if you wanna rank them please do so!
My top 5 girls names at the moment:
Vida
Vesper
Saskia
Aspen
Saffron
I’ll give feedback starting from most favorite to least.
1. Vesper ↓
A lovely name. I like the sound and the meaning, and while Vesper personally isn’t on my big masterlist, Vespérine (with an accent on the e) is, which may be of interest to you too?
2. Vida ↓
Sweet and simple, but also unique. Love the meaning of “life”.
3. Aspen ↓
Nice nature name; I like the connection to trees.
4. Saskia ↓
Quite neutral on Saskia. I want to like it, but it seems to fall short for me.
5. Saffron ↓
Honestly, I’ve never been a huge fan of Saffron— something about it doesn’t vibe with me? I think it’s perhaps the sound that puts me off.

i agree on Vida (which btw it’s not my real name hahah) it is simple and unique at the same time and as you mentioned means life in spanish which is my main language so it’s a word name for me
also im lovingg Aspen but that’s the name of a radio in my country so it’d be so weird to use it 
(same as River bc that’s the name of a soccer team) but maybe as a middle name?
i agree about Saffron! it has a sound that for me sounds kinda masculine and maybe more like a boys name but I tend to like strong names on girls so im starting to like it for a girl hahah

[name_u]Vesper[/name_u] is such a pretty name, I actually used it for a name of a city in a book I’m writing. [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] is equally as pretty and love the look of it. (Though I prefer it on a boy)
I’m biased but I like [name_u]Vesper[/name_u]. [name_f]My[/name_f] second favorite would be [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] and third would be [name_u]Vida[/name_u], it’s too short for me, and I usually love short names.

Here are my thoughts-
Vesper-I’m not a big fan of this. Something about it just reminds me of a snake.
Saskia-That’s kind of fun. Not a name that I usually think about, but it’s feminine w/out being frilly & pretty spunky. I also like that it’s unique, but not weird.
Vida-Ohh, I like [name_u]Vida[/name_u]. It’s soft but strong at the same time. Simple & not over done. You can do the sweet nn of [name_f]Vivie[/name_f] too. And something about [name_u]Vida[/name_u] feels a bit glamorous too, which I love.
Saffron-This is lovely. It feels very bold & elegant. Another unique but not overly complicated choice. And [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] as a spice is so warm & delightful.
Aspen-I’m not huge on this one. I like it in theory, but I think it reminds me of a snake too.

Vida is my absolute favorite! 
I am so happy to see it getting love. My family and I speak Spanish as well, and I feel like this name is a lot lovelier knowing it’s a word name for us. Unique and intriguing…
1.) [name_u]Aspen[/name_u]- BEST NAME EVER I love this name so much it’s definitely one of my top names mainly because of the nicknames it has like penn for a boy or penny for a girl
2.) vida- I love this name as well I love how unique it is and the simplicity of it, I also like that it’s similar to [name_f]Veda[/name_f] and [name_f]Vera[/name_f] which all are super cute and unique v names
3.) saskia- Super unique name love the meaning I think that if this one was chosen nobody would have this name it’s similar to the name [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] in my opinion.
4.) saffron- I would honestly not use this personally as a first name but I love it as a middle name if you found a good first name to go with it. I not a huge fan because it just doesn’t have a good ring to it.
5.) vesper- not a fan I’m so sorry it is a unique name but whenever I see it I just want to say [name_f]Vespa[/name_f] like a [name_f]Vespa[/name_f] scooter it sucks when you have associations to a name
Overall really cute names Don’t let my opinion deter you from any of the names their still all beautiful and unique names
[name_f]Saskia[/name_f] - [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] only beat out [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] by a hair for me because I feel that it’s more useable. I love this name because it’s unique, but I feel like it’s easy to pronounce. It’s also feminine without being flowery and has tons of nn options!
[name_u]Vesper[/name_u] - One of my gp’s. I LOVE it but people told me it sounds too much like [name_f]Vespa[/name_f]? Doesn’t bother me too much lol.
[name_f]Saffron[/name_f] - YES. A floral name that is not overused! Easy to pronounce! NN options!
[name_u]Aspen[/name_u] - This name has grown on me. I like it more for a girl than a boy also!
[name_u]Vida[/name_u] - The only reason this name ranked last for me is because of a negative association. (Veda in [name_f]Mildred[/name_f] [name_m]Pierce[/name_m] is one of the most epic evil women ever lol).
I actually think vesper is getting quite a bit of attention on here
