[name_f]Colette[/name_f]
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]
[name_f]Lila[/name_f]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]
[name_f]Elle[/name_f]
[name_f]Colette[/name_f] - Nice! I like the nickname [name_u]Coco[/name_u]. 7/10
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] - Not my favorite, but still a nice name. 6/10
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] - I love [name_f]Lila[/name_f]! It’s such a pretty name with a floral touch. 9/10
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] - I also love [name_f]Stella[/name_f], such a pretty and space-themed name! 9/10
[name_f]Elle[/name_f] - I prefer it as a nickname, mainly because it’s too short and letter-y to be a full name. 4/10 full name, 8/10 nickname
[name_f]Colette[/name_f] - sharp, sleek and stylish
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] - approachable and gentle, familiar but not overused - doesn’t quite have the same flair as the others imo, sorry
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] - bright, starry and lovely
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] - sharp, sweet and sparky
[name_f]Elle[/name_f] - snappy, stylish with understated flair
[name_f]My[/name_f] thoughts
[name_f]Colette[/name_f] ~ stunning! I genuinely really love [name_f]Colette[/name_f] she’s elegant, romantic, has great nickname potential with [name_u]Coco[/name_u] & [name_f]Letty[/name_f] along with a fabulous meaning ‘victory to the people’ truly gorgeous.
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] ~ such a fun name that feels sweet, bubbly and fun with a nostalgic flair. I like that she has the meaning ‘precious stone’ adding this sparkly twinkle to the name.
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] ~ a fun happy choice that feels spunky and youthful. Aesthetically I picture a young saxophone player with a gorgeous Afro, dark skin and eyes wearing brightly coloured flared trousers looking truly fabulous. Gorgeously fun!
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] ~ she has grown on me TONS I can see why people love her she’s a vintage name that shares sounds with more popular options (Ella, [name_f]Bella[/name_f] etc) so makes her feel modern too. Has a lovely starry meaning and is fashionable. [name_f]My[/name_f] only hangup is that I do associate her with the cider so I wouldn’t use her. I prefer [name_f]Estella[/name_f].
[name_f]Elle[/name_f] ~ sweet, feminine, understated and simplistic. [name_f]Elle[/name_f] is a lovely simple option that feels pretty. However I do prefer [name_f]Ella[/name_f] or [name_f]Belle[/name_f] which have a similar feel but appeal to me more.
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f] are my clear favorites. The rest on the list are nice, just not my style.
[name_f]Colette[/name_f]: 6/10, this name has grown on me, its cute! I do prefer [name_f]Cosette[/name_f] over it though
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]: 3/10, not a fan, sounds like [name_f]Jenna[/name_f], which I have bad associations with
[name_f]Lila[/name_f]: 4/10, not too bad, but its my least fav [name_f]Lil[/name_f]- name
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]: 8/10, this name has grown on me, I really like it!
[name_f]Elle[/name_f]: 6/10, cute nickname, but not by itself
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite by a mile is [name_f]Stella[/name_f]. Sleek, celestial, sophisticated yet approachable. It has a 1920s / 1930s vibe for me (not sure if that has any connection to reality!) and every [name_f]Stella[/name_f] I’ve met has been wonderfully stylish and carried themselves well.
I don’t like [name_f]Colette[/name_f], mainly by association, but it also feels very nothingy to me, there isn’t a strong sound in it. I don’t get the current popularity of [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] on name sites, in the UK it was dated even 10 years ago and as its a name of my generation it’s too soon to have come back round, mothers in the playground would be called this. It’s also not got the classiest vibes imo and I say that as an extremely working class person, it has similar vibes to [name_f]Donna[/name_f]. No offence to any Gemma’s or Donna’s but that’s my experience.
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] and [name_f]Elle[/name_f] are fine, just not my style.
I think they’re all pretty names! I listed the names from most favorite to least favorite below:
[name_f]Colette[/name_f]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]
[name_f]Lila[/name_f]
[name_f]Elle[/name_f]
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]
[name_f]Colette[/name_f] - I’m so fond of this name. I love the [name_u]French[/name_u] sound and I used to watch a YouTuber with this name who is such a wonderful person.
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] - I think [name_f]Gem[/name_f] would be a great nn. It’s a name in the UK from my generation so it gives me 80’s vibes!
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] - love this, 10/10.
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] - I like the starry associations and the sound. It’s not one I’d use because it reminds me of working in a bar and serving a lot of [name_f]Stella[/name_f] Artois unfortunately!
[name_f]Elle[/name_f] - as with [name_f]Lila[/name_f], I love the simplicity of this name. It sounds chic and bright.
LOVE your names!
[name_f]Colette[/name_f] - 8/10
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] - 9/10
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] - 8/10
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] - 6/10
[name_f]Elle[/name_f] - 7/10
[name_f]Colette[/name_f] - 8/10 pretty and sweet but with a strong meaning and namesakes
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] - 5/10 feels a little dated - super 90s - but is pretty with a lovely meaning
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] - 6/10 potential for mispronounciation. I like lee-luh less a fan of lie-luh. Not sure how you’re pronouncing. But I do love the colour purple (which this means in many languages) it does fit in with all the popular l names right now
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] - 1/10 - I like the star connection but it feels very dated to me 60s esque and maybe it’s the connection to the beer but I’ve never had good associations for the sound or aesthetics of this name
[name_f]Elle[/name_f] - 9/10 - sleek, elegant, pretty , simple. I question if it’s too tied to the magazine as a full name. But I prefer this to [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] by far
