Simon -it’s not for me, but it is a solid and underused name
Landon -quite cool and modern
Cole -relaxed and charming
Ryan - not for me but Ry is a cool nickname
Benjamin -classic, handsome and versatile
James - a bit unexciting but solid and classic

simon darling. i absolutely love this sweet name!
landon ooo. i’m getting 90’s vibes. i only knew a few landons growing up, but they were all cute! and i love the a walk to remember reference.
cole short and strong!
ryan classic and cozy for a boy! i could definitely see ryan as a brother for landon + cole, but my friend loves it for a girl, and i’m starting to prefer that too.
benjamin love love love this! it goes so well with simon too imo!
james classic and cute, though a little overdone.

all in all, i really love your style! it’s classic and cozy :camping:

I really like your list! [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u], [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_u]Ryan[/name_u], and [name_m]Cole[/name_m] are all on my own list (with [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] and [name_u]James[/name_u] being two of my top 5 boys’ names!) and [name_m]Simon[/name_m] and [name_u]Landon[/name_u] are also cool and handsome.

[name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] and [name_u]James[/name_u] are also in my top names! I find they a strong classics , and I especially love [name_m]Simon[/name_m]

[name_u]Landon[/name_u] , [name_m]Cole[/name_m] and [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] feel a little trendier and maybe a little dated ( early 2000) love the names still !

[name_u]Landon[/name_u] always reminds me of a walk to remember !

We have a pretty similar naming style! I am only counting 6 names though; is there one you forgot to list?

[name_m]Simon[/name_m]- I love the meaning and it’s soft nature.
[name_u]Landon[/name_u]- One of my first name loves! I still have a soft spot for it, though I prefer [name_u]Hayden[/name_u].
[name_m]Cole[/name_m]- I like this one in theory, but I had a bratty student named [name_m]Cole[/name_m] last year.
[name_u]Ryan[/name_u]- I seem to be the only one who finds this name to be dated! :woman_shrugging:t2:
[name_u]Benjamin[/name_u]- Absolutely love, especially with nn options of [name_m]Ben[/name_m], [name_m]Benny[/name_m], and [name_m]Benji[/name_m]. [name_m]Classic[/name_m] for a reason.
[name_u]James[/name_u]- Same as above. [name_u]Jamie[/name_u] is the best nickname!

I love these names! [name_m]Simon[/name_m], [name_u]Ryan[/name_u], [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u], & [name_u]James[/name_u] are all on my own list, and [name_m]Cole[/name_m] would also be on my list if it wasn’t too close to a family member I have!

[name_u]Ryan[/name_u] - Although difficult to picture this name on a baby.
[name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] - I like this with the nickname “Benji” or “Benny”.
[name_u]James[/name_u] - [name_m]Classic[/name_m], but slightly boring?

DISLIKE:
[name_m]Simon[/name_m] - Personally think this sounds a bit whine-y.
[name_u]Landon[/name_u] - Sounds like you’re saying “London” with a Cockney accent.
[name_m]Cole[/name_m] - [name_m]Just[/name_m] reminds me of “coal”.

[name_m]Simon[/name_m] – It’s not my style, but it’s a classic and timeless choice. I just can’t picture it on a baby right now, but I think that could change if I met one.
[name_u]Landon[/name_u] – I agree with a previous poster - I get total 90s vibes from this, and I love it! I think it’s sweet and modern, but also will age really well.
[name_m]Cole[/name_m] – Short and sweet. It’s one of those names that doesn’t exactly stand out from the crowd, but you can’t go wrong with it. I’d be happy to meet a baby [name_m]Cole[/name_m]!
[name_u]Ryan[/name_u] – Similar vibes to [name_u]Landon[/name_u], but I prefer [name_u]Landon[/name_u] over [name_u]Ryan[/name_u].
[name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] – I have a bad association so I can’t exactly comment fairly, but I think it’s an absolute timeless classic with a bunch of built-in adorable nicknames!
[name_u]James[/name_u] – I love [name_u]James[/name_u]. [name_u]James[/name_u] will never be old! It’s one of those names that’s popular for a reason and the popularity of it doesn’t put me off at all. I am always happy to meet another [name_u]James[/name_u]!

Ranked from favorite (1) to least favorite (5):

  1. [name_u]James[/name_u] – love it. I feel like it’s gone down in popularity for boys. whereas i see [name_u]Austin[/name_u], [name_u]Alex[/name_u], [name_m]Caden[/name_m], [name_u]Hayden[/name_u], [name_u]Jaden[/name_u], [name_u]Bradley[/name_u] etc. becoming more popular, I think [name_u]James[/name_u] is very classic.
  2. [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] – I like this for the same reason as [name_u]James[/name_u].
  3. [name_m]Cole[/name_m] / [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] / [name_u]Landon[/name_u] – While I like these, they’re too popular for me personally.
  4. [name_m]Simon[/name_m] – it’s a very cute name but whatever reason I can’t seem to shake the [name_m]Simon[/name_m] the Chipmunk association out of my head.
