I have been considering using this as a middle name for a little girl to honor my brilliant and beautiful mother, whose name is Ngaire (due to unfortunate mispronunciation of her name though, she tends most often to go by her middle name).
What are your thoughts on [name_f]Naiara[/name_f]? I do prefer her in the middle, however, I don’t mind her as a first, with the nickname of [name_f]Naia[/name_f]…
I think it’s pretty and original, great middle potential. I could see it working as a first too.
It’s not my style, but I can’t find nothing against it. It reminds me of oranges and has modern feel.

I think it is pretty, easy to pronounce and love nn [name_f]Naia[/name_f]. Would work for either first or middle.

It’s got such a pretty sound but unfortunately you’re totally right about the spelling being confusing. I think [name_f]Naiara[/name_f] is a good alternative for a middle.
