for a girl, what are your thoughts on [name]Ayla[/name] for the first name & [name]Bryn[/name] for the middle name. Last name starts with M.
Thanks!
It is not bad… I would pick something a little more substantial… if that makes sense? It just seems like it is missing something to me.
I agree. Maybe because both names seem to be pretty trendy/popular right now, together they feel like they’re a little “airy” for lack of a better word. I’m not sure. I like them both on their own, but not together.
I like [name]Ayla[/name]. Not a huge fan of [name]Bryn[/name] in the middle name spot, but it is not by any means a terrible combo. I just find [name]Bryn[/name] kind of predictable.
I like both names and think they sound good together.
I think [name]Ayla[/name] [name]Bryn[/name] is elegant and tasteful and artistic.
I think the names are nice separately (though I find [name]Bryn[/name] a little masculine), and I don’t mind them together except that I feel like there are a lot of Y going on. I know it’s just two, but because the names are so short, the Ys stand out to me a lot and look trendy. I think [name]Ayla[/name] [name]Bliss[/name] (one Y), [name]Ayla[/name] [name]Brinley[/name] (same # of Ys, but more length), or even [name]Ayla[/name] [name]Brinn[/name] look better…
Neither name is really appealing to me. Putting two “y” names together sounds a little trendy.
Does it help if it’s [name]Ayla[/name] [name]Brynn[/name]?
For me, the two Ns do help make it more feminine-looking. I’m still not a huge fan of the two Ys, but I like it better.
I actually do like [name]Brynn[/name] spelled like that, seems more complete. I have never heard [name]Ayla[/name] by itself, but I like it much better than [name]Kayla[/name]. [name]Do[/name] you like [name]Isla[/name]?
I think so; I have only ever known boys called [name]Bryn[/name] but [name]Brynn[/name] with the extra N is feminine to me.
I’m not into the 2 Y thing. I think don’t know if you would like [name]Isla[/name] Bynn or [name]Ayla[/name] [name]Brinn[/name]? I think [name]Ayelet[/name] [name]Brinn[/name] is pretty.
Yeah it’s my sister’s top name for a girl.
I like [name]Ayla[/name] [name]Brinley[/name] & [name]Ayla[/name] [name]Brinn[/name] better but she prefers [name]Ayla[/name] [name]Brynn[/name]
Thanks for your input everyone!
[name]Ayla[/name] [name]Brynn[/name] is more appealing than [name]Ayla[/name] [name]Bryn[/name] only because that extra letter gives it more stability imo.
I like the combination alot and both names on their own.
Btw, love your kids names! Im expecting a lil [name]Jasper[/name] of my own
I love [name]Ayla[/name], I knew a little girl by that name years ago. She’d be in her 20s now and I’ve never heard it on anyone else
As others have said, [name]Ayla[/name] [name]Brynn[/name] looks better. [name]Bryn[/name] is the masculine spelling
thank you! soon, we’ll both have Jaspers
