Thoughts on name Hannah Nicole

My husband and I expecting our first child together although we both have children from a previous marriage. The kids wanted to be involved in name selections. Thoughts on that and the name [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f]?

[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] is a beautiful combo. I love [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] but personally prefer [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. It is nice to involve the children.

[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] is perfectly nice. Both of those names are very popular so if that’s important for you to avoid, you might want to consider it. While it’s a pretty name, it won’t necessarily be unique, even when taking the middle name into consideration.

I like [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f]! While I feel like there are lots of people in the 15-45 year old range with these names right now, I feel like both of the names are less common for babies currently, so there probably won’t be 5 other Hannahs in her class. I love the idea of including the baby’s siblings in the naming as well.

[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] is a beautiful, classic name. [name_u]Love[/name_u] it!

Made me think of [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] right off the bat, but that association will change once it’s attached to a person. I think [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] is a beautiful combo

As a fellow [name_f]Hannah[/name_f], it always touching to know of others that get to share it  It has a great meaning and is always easy to spell. But as is mentioned above, [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] is blindingly popular. Maybe now it could be in its decline, but I have met and continue to meet many other [name_f]Hannah[/name_f]'s. But if this is something that you don’t care about go for it!

I, along with, [name_u]Phil[/name_u] (my loving husband), [name_m]Troy[/name_m] and [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] ([name_u]Jessie[/name_u]) would like to thank everyone for the feedback. I think this will bring us even closer together as a family. I think the kids are just as excited as [name_u]Phil[/name_u] and I are. They started working on names as soon as we found out we were expecting. It is too early to know the sex yet so I guess we will start working on boy names in the other forum.

Thank you all again!!!

[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] is beautiful! Personally, I would use a different middle name, but [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] works well.

I think that we are going with [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] but open for suggestions on middle name. [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] is a done deal. [name_m]Troy[/name_m] and [name_u]Jessie[/name_u] both chose the name and the rarely agree on anything. Next we will be picking out colors for the nursery. My husband and I like [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] but the kids are iffy.

Thoughts?

I think [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] is gorgeous, personally!

As far as involving your children in naming their sibling, I think it’s a sweet idea. I was involved in naming my little sister (I was 3 and a half when she was born), by helping suggest “M” names to my mum - [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] were the two I picked I think. They actually almost went with [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] until about two weeks before my sister was born (her middle name is actually [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] - so I might be a little bit biased, but I think it’s gorgeous).

My thoughts on [name_f]Nicole[/name_f]; its really common where I am, especially for my age group. (mid-late 20’s) it’s my middle name and when I graduated every other girl seemed to have it as a first or middle name too. so I feel like its over used, dated and boring.

BTW, THIS IS [name_m]JUST[/name_m] MY OPINION. I am a random stranger on the internet, so if you love it by all means ignore me and use it!

[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] is a gorgeous name! Since you guys are iffy on [name_f]Nicole[/name_f], are there any other names that either you two or the kids like? I think [name_f]Tess[/name_f] would be an interesting name to consider. It combines [name_m]Troy[/name_m] and [name_u]Jessie[/name_u], which is a sweet nod to her older siblings. [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] or [name_f]Marie[/name_f] are other middles that I think work great with [name_f]Hannah[/name_f], as well.
I think it is a sweet idea to include the older ones in the name process!

[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] brings me straight to [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] [name_m]Smith[/name_m], so I’m with your kids  .

Going off sound alone I think these fit - two syllables, stress on second syllable, avoiding endings in -a.

[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Colette[/name_f]
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Coline[/name_f]
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Margo[/name_f] / [name_f]Margot[/name_f] / [name_f]Margaux[/name_f]
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Selene[/name_f] / [name_f]Celine[/name_f]
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Adele[/name_f]

And some with a different rhythm that I think work well
