What are your thoughts on the name [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m]?

It’s definitely our frontrunner right now, but we’re open to ideas! Any names with a similar feel or any suggestions?

We live in Central Europe, I’m American, and our kids all go to a British international school - so looking for something that fits in in all of those places. We don’t have any particular criteria. But bonus if it has 3 syllables (a theme we inadvertently started, but don’t need to finish).

[name_m]Nikolai[/name_m]'s one of my favourites! I absolutely love everything about it. It has a really sweet, quiet, gentle feel, and I think it’s very usable and accessible. I always imagine [name_m]Isidore[/name_m], [name_m]William[/name_m], [name_m]Alexei[/name_m] are similar in terms of feel. Sorry, I’m not that good with suggestions, I think [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] is perfect tbh.

I really like [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m]. I think of handsome Eastern European man when I see it.

[name_m]Dimitri[/name_m] and [name_u]Konstantin[/name_u] are similar.

I love [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m], it’s one of my favorite boy names and was a top contender when naming our son. I also love how many nns it has, [name_u]Niko[/name_u], [name_u]Nik[/name_u], [name_m]Kolya[/name_m], Kol/[name_m]Kole[/name_m], [name_u]Kai[/name_u].

I think [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] is so great! I would love to meet a little boy with this name. [name_u]Niko[/name_u] is adorable!
