Thoughts on Noam?

What do you think of [name_m]Noam[/name_m]? Is it too close to [name_u]Noah[/name_u]?

I like its soft sounds and gentle nature.

Does sound very soft and strong. I do think it would be mistaken for the more common [name_u]Noah[/name_u] quite often, but it’s a simple enough correction to make

I love [name_m]Noam[/name_m]! Personally, I’m not sure I would use it given the similarity to [name_u]Noah[/name_u]. Both because it might be misheard as [name_u]Noah[/name_u], and because [name_u]Noah[/name_u] is so popular and, therefore, the ‘sound’ feels popular to me even though the name itself is not. I would be excited to see someone else use it though!

I think it might be [name_u]Sacha[/name_u] [name_m]Baron[/name_m] [name_m]Cohen[/name_m]’s middle name, but I don’t have any other associations.

The only [name_m]Noam[/name_m] I’ve ever heard of is [name_m]Noam[/name_m] Chomsky. I think it’s a nice name. I don’t think the similarity to [name_u]Noah[/name_u] is a huge problem.

I love it! It’s like [name_u]Noah[/name_u]’s lesser known cousin. So soft and lovable.

I like it! I definitely think you’d get the confusion with [name_u]Noah[/name_u] though.

Love [name_m]Noam[/name_m]! I have for years and years. I would love to meet a little [name_m]Noam[/name_m], and his meaning is so lovely.

Ironically I think of Canadian actor [name_m]Noam[/name_m] [name_m]Jenkins[/name_m] over [name_m]Noam[/name_m] Chomsky, but Chomsky does come to mind as well.
