Thoughts on Olive Clementine

I wouldn’t worry about them both being foods; I didn’t notice until others pointed it out, and [name_f]Evie[/name_f] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f] really is a precious sibset!! If you are worried, though, maybe you could do [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]? If you think [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is too long, maybe: [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Clemence[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_u]Clem[/name_u], or [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Clemency[/name_f]?

I do think [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is stunning, and because mns are very rarely ever said aloud, I think very few people would make the association.

I like the sound of [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], but it is exceptionally foody. I would be really tempted to swap the middle names and have [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], both of which are lovely.

I love the names you’ve chosen! [name_m]How[/name_m] exciting!
We have a little [name_f]Olive[/name_f]. She is [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] is an honour name but I was also very tempted by [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f]!

Beautiful names!

I think [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] might be the best combo for [name_f]Olive[/name_f] that I’ve heard actually! It flows so well.

Good luck

I agree with this!

I think [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] sounds beautiful while also sounding equally edible… maybe decide if as a parent if that connection would bother you. I don’t see it being brought up all the time but definitely on occasion throughout the years. But I [name_m]Don[/name_m]’t think it’s a automatic deal breaker imho. If you’re on the fence [name_f]Olive[/name_f] could easily become [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]. Or there are other similar sounding names to [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] that could be considered such as Madeline, Cordelia, Aveline, [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] or [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]. But I do think [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is a winner if you choose it! Thanks for keeping us posted on this twin naming adventure!

I really, really like it! The food connection with both names may be a bit much for some, but I personally don’t like clementines so I always forget that’s a food and don’t associate it with them :joy:

Olive [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is a bit too fruity for my tastes. However, I do admit that it sounds nice, and balances out the length of [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] (if shes getting a shorter middle).
Personally, I’d you really wanted to use [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], I would add [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f]. Ie, [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] with X [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], or [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Olive[/name_f] and [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] Y.

We decided on [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] though there is still some debate on whether we will go with [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] or Noël which my husband is really pushing for. I think the more we say them out loud the more we love them. [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] just melt my heart and [name_f]Evie[/name_f] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f] really seal the deal for me.

I hate to say it but I immediately though of two foods. And if I did, chances are a lot of people in her life will too. Both very pretty names individually, either would be lovely paired with another name
