Let’s hear 'em. Can’t decide if I love it or hate it…
PS - For me, [name]Milo[/name] and [name]Otis[/name] is a positive association!
[name]Love[/name] it! It’s sort of dorky, but also smart and fun. I really love it, and I’ve considered it on several occasions. I very nearly went for [name]Spencer[/name] [name]Otis[/name] [name]Gray[/name] over [name]Spencer[/name] [name]Ezra[/name] [name]Gray[/name] on my short list. 
I think I’m more likely to use it as a MN than a FN, but it does make a very handsome, quirky FN choice, too.
I really like [name]Otis[/name], but I’m not quite brave enough to use it myself. I’ve mentioned it others who have had a less positive reaction. [name]Milo[/name] is safer, but still cute.
I really like [name]Milo[/name] too, but it’s a bit too popular for my taste… and I think it’s going to keep trending upward.
I really like [name]Otis[/name]. I think it’s very handsome, with a smart sound that ins’t pretentious. I just would avoid pairing it with [name]Milo[/name]!

I really like it as well! My first thought was [name]Redding[/name], but in my opinion that’s an amazing reference…“king of soul”. I am not aware of the [name]Milo[/name] connection, but as long as it’s a positive one you can’t go wrong.

I’m definitely a fan of [name]Otis[/name]! I used it for one of my main characters, and the more I write him the more I love the name.
I chose [name]Otis[/name] because, to me, the name embodies several of my character’s qualities: handsome, sort of dorky, sweet, laid back, fun, very country. [name]Otis[/name] is just a cool name.
[name]Otis[/name] Spunkmeyer is my first assocoation, followed by [name]Milo[/name] and [name]Otis[/name].
It’s not a personal favourite of mine, but I find it completely non-offensive.
[name]Love[/name] [name]Otis[/name]! Wish my husband loved it too.
SOOO weird that I saw this thread…I was just about ready to post the exact same thing!! I met an [name]Otis[/name] the other day; handsome young man who just back from his second tour in Afghanistan. I really like the name!
All the different associations [name]Otis[/name] has leaves me feeling kind of torn between where to put this name. [name]Milo[/name] and [name]Otis[/name], [name]Otis[/name] [name]Redding[/name], [name]Otis[/name] the town drunk from the [name]Andy[/name] [name]Griffith[/name] Show… that’s just off the top of my head. Overall, I suppose I’d put it somewhere between “kind of like” and “like”.
