Would love to hear your opinions on our list! We’re having a baby boy this [name_u]July[/name_u]. It’s our first baby, but I’ve been a name nerd for so long, I’m really overthinking it!

In all my years as a name enthusiast I also never realized how much I’d have to compromise with someone else on names. :joy:

Here’s our list. Thoughts? His middle name will be [name_u]James[/name_u], after my dad:

[name_u]Jasper[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u]
[name_m]Silas[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]

Three of my faves!!

[name_u]Leander[/name_u] is so bold, adventurous and sleek, but also grounded and wearable

[name_u]Jasper[/name_u] is stylish, on trend and cool

[name_m]Silas[/name_m] has a slightly mysterious sound while also being familiar

[name_u]Leander[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] - love this! In my area would be unusual but all the sounds are familiar and it’s easy to pronounce.

[name_u]Jasper[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] - the alliteration makes me feel like this is the name of a main character in a book! Really love the name [name_u]Jasper[/name_u], soft but masculine.

[name_m]Silas[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] - another soft but masculine choice. Really lovely flow.

Honestly think all of them are great choices. I think my pick would be [name_m]Silas[/name_m] if I were choosing but would definitely keep [name_u]Leander[/name_u] and [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] on the list for any other future boys :sweat_smile:

Great names!

[name_u]Leander[/name_u] is an amazing name, reminds me of the delightful verb, meander.

I love [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] dearly, but it has become more popular.

[name_m]Silas[/name_m] is nice, so symmetrical.

I’d go with [name_u]Leander[/name_u] [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u]

[name_u]Leander[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] would have to be my favorite, I never see names like this, it’s really special

I really like all 3 of those names! Great choices. I keep going back and forth trying to pick between [name_u]Leander[/name_u] and Jasper… I think I’d go with [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u], I love the alliteration and how it sounds.

I think my #1 pick for you has to be [name_u]Leander[/name_u], because you just don’t see it or hear it often enough, but it’s such a handsome name!

[name_u]Jasper[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] gets my vote! [name_u]Love[/name_u] the alliteration

[name_u]Jasper[/name_u] and [name_m]Silas[/name_m] are really lovely. I slightly prefer [name_m]Silas[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u], but golly, they’re both really gorgeous. No bad choices in your whole list!

Wow! What amazing choices! All three names go wonderfully with the middle name [name_u]James[/name_u]. I’d choose [name_u]Leander[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u]! [name_u]Leander[/name_u] is the least popular of the three, if that’s important to you. [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] and other J names are quite popular for boys, but I do have a soft spot for the alliteration of [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u]!

I prefer [name_u]Leander[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] for flow.

I love all three of these names!
[name_u]Jasper[/name_u] is my favourite, since it sounds fresh and masculine.
[name_m]Silas[/name_m] is pleasing to say, I love the meaning! The nn Sye is so cute, idk why.
[name_u]Leander[/name_u] is my least favourite, but still lovely. It flows best with [name_u]James[/name_u].

I love [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u]! [name_u]Leander[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] would be my next pick if you wanted to avoid the alliteration

All three are great, so you could wait and see what he looks like. I do love the unusualness of Leander; I would love to meet one. [name_m]Silas[/name_m] is my personal favorite. I like the Biblical character and I love trees too!

[name_u]Jasper[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] is definitely the winner. I love [name_m]Silas[/name_m], but the combination of [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] and [name_u]James[/name_u] is just chefs kiss.
