I love [name_f]Mara[/name_f] personally.
[name_f]Nicole[/name_f] sounds a bit dated to me, 80s.
[name_f]Vada[/name_f] and [name_f]Mae[/name_f] are awesome, too.
[name_u]McKinley[/name_u] works, although I feel like the McK names for girls are a fad right now and might get old soon.
My favourite is [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Cora[/name_f] and [name_f]Mara[/name_f] too but not keen on [name_f]Mae[/name_f] or [name_f]Nicole[/name_f]. [name_f]Vada[/name_f] is interesting and different… I think I like it, once I get past the Darth thing (I know it’s not generally pronounced the same, but still).
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] and [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] all the way!

The other two are not my style.

I agree that [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] is a bit dated for a first name but I do like it in the middle spot. It is also my sisters name so I like that it would honor her. I was torn about [name_u]McKinley[/name_u] but my husband seems to like it and I don’t hate it, although I tend to agree about the “Mc” names being overused.

I lean towards [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] just for all the nicknam options: [name_f]Amy[/name_f], [name_f]Mila[/name_f], [name_f]Lia[/name_f]. If you went with [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] (slightly different pronunciation, it’s a bit softer sounding I think) you get the added nicknames: [name_f]Emma[/name_f], [name_f]Emmie[/name_f], [name_f]Mila[/name_f] and [name_f]Lia[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] is lovely, but I’d swoon over [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]! <3
